iOS Parallel Automation: run faster than fast — Viktar Karanevich — SeleniumC...Badoo
iOS Automation rapidly changed due to the evolution of Apple automation frameworks and Calabash community support. One year ago, we parallelised our iOS testing with multiple desktops – a large improvement in performance. Here is an account of the subsequent changes, including the removal of multiple desktops and the adoption of Apple’s new XCTest framework.
The automation community (Appium, Calabash etc.) faced a new challenge: how could we create iOS Automation Infrastructure with the new XCTest Framework?
I adopted Facebook solution (FBSimCtl and WebAgentDriver) into the multi-simulators approach. In this talk, I will discuss the full evolution path to Facebash Approach based on multi-simulators, Calabash server and Facebook Web Driver Agent.

Michele Pistone top 5 tips for teaching law online Michele Pistone
Teaching law online is daunting. Because of the Covid 19 shift to remote learning, we are all being asked to change the way we have been teaching for years. And, we are doing this all in a vacuum because there are not many models for how to teach law online effectively.
This webinar is designed to help you overcome some of the pain points of designing an online course. It derives from a several-session workshop co-facilitated by Professor Michele Pistone at the AALS Clinical Conference for several years. She will explain the theory behind effective online course design and facilitate exercises that will walk you through steps for designing an effective online course. She has more than ten years of experience designing online courses and videos for legal education.

2. Group Work
As my social skills are one of my strengths, it’s only natural that
group work will be one of the social contexts that is most
productive for me.
This is because I understand what it takes to create a good
working atmosphere within a group, such as having a mutual
respect among the group and knowing the people you work
with. This allows me to use group work efficiently to complete a
task. But also I benefit greatly from sharing ideas with other
people, as it can often result in advice or ideas that result in the
idea becoming much better.
3. Seminars/lectures
Equally this learning context is also very productive for me personally.
This is due to my experience in A levels which has allowed me to develop
skills such as problem solving and note taking further. What’s more as all
three A level’s were humanities, I picked up humanities specific skills
such as creating links between different topics, evaluating sources and
picking out key information.
Also I respond well from the teacher/lecturer using their own
experience within lessons. This is because you can learn a lot from other
people’s experiences and this can consequently result in a positive
outcome.
As I learn best from experiences, this is vital for me because as I can
learn from a mistake or issue without having to actuall exerience it for
myself.
4. My room
While I this context of learning isn’t as productive as the other two,
I am still able to learn effectively. This is because it is more peaceful
and relaxed, as I can have my music or podcasts on and have short
breaks while I work. Not to mention I have all my resources in one
area. This learning context is my preferred choice for doing
research as a result of this.
What’s more I am two minutes from the library and the internet
readily available, so if I need extra information or quotes I can
easily get them. Plus if I am struggling to work I will take a break
and go to the gym which is very close by, which allows me to focus
much more effectively when I return.
