status quo.
• Leaders motivate others to achieve something new and better.
Interestingly, leaders do what they do to pursue innovation, not as an
obligation. They measure success by looking at the team's
achievements and learning
• Affiliative: Leaders create emotional bonds and harmony.
• Democratic: Leaders build consensus through participation.
• Pacesetting: Leaders expect excellence and self-direction.
• Coaching: Leaders develop people for the future
• Heroic Leadership
• “Heroic Leadership For All” helps you become an innovative, mindful, and
purpose-driven leader. Drawing on the wisdom and insights that have inspired
Jesuit success across centuries, the program will enable you and your team to
cultivate four crucial pillars of great leadership: self awareness, show someone
the way/accompany, ingenuity, and heroism.
• This program will be an especially superb fit for teams working at a academic
institution wanting to cultivate a values-based approach to leadership.
For many years now evidence has suggested that heroic leadership – a
model in which a single individual is perceived as driving an organisation
to success – does not create better outcomes for leaders or teams.
Leadership is about relationships, not being a superhero.
• Being a leader in the tech industry means solving problems with
innovative solutions or explaining new technology concepts in
engaging ways. Typically, tech leaders initially emerge from the
creation of new technology advancements
What Skills Constitute Good Leadership?
• IT leadership is the main vehicle by which the organization's
technology strategies and objectives are realized. It is also the
foundation upon which business security and stability relies. Because
of this, adequate skills in the following areas have to be obtained and
employed.
• However technical you are, you have to deal with man before
machine. Knowledge about the proper management of people in the
IT environment is very important. IT is all about serving the business.
• Programs and applications help form the IT environment. Businesses
deal with software developed both in-house and by third party
vendors. IT leadership must understand how these applications work
and which interfaces the business uses.
• Networking Skills
• Mobile applications and Device management skills
• We can talk about jobs due to lack of leadership skills . Student have
skills but don’t know how to lead their clients and how to lead their
technical skills.
• We apply some process mining on collected data
• Behavioral approach to leadership
• Judgment and decision making
• Leader member exchange theory
• Behaviors leadership or self-direction to lead in future included in
courses for the self direction of students.
