Draupadi Murmu
She was born to a Santuli family on 20th June 1958 in Orissa. Her family named her
Puti Tudu her name was changed several times.
Murmu is an admire of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. She has also
hailed Mahatma Gandhi and BR Ambedkar.
In June 2022, the BJP nominated her as the NDA's candidate for President of India.
During her election campaign , she visited various States seeking support for her
candidature.
On July 2022, she secured a clear majority in 2022 presidential election defeating
common opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha with 676,803 electoral votes in 21
of the 28 states to become the 15th President of India.
Draupadi Murmu as a leader and her
leadership style :
She is the first tribal women to become the countries president. Today , she has become
an ideal not only for India but for billions of people around the world .
Her leadership style can be categorised as transformational. Despite from coming from
an underdeveloped street , she is sitting new Benchmarks in every coming year.
She truly proved that no dream is too small to be completed. She is an example of the real
courage which lies in getting back again and overcoming all are challenges.
She is a true example of a powerful leader who with her determination, true courage and
perseverance choose to stand tall instead of lying down and giving up.
Her journey has been and inspiration to millions of us to never stop trying no matter
what!
Advantages of her leadership style :
1. With her leadership style, in September 2022 , she launched a government
program "Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat" - an initiative to eradicate tuberculosis
from the country.
2. Also, she became the first ever President of India to inaugurate the "Mysuru
Dasara" a 10 day state festival in Karnataka.
Disadvantages of her leadership style :
1. Lack of assertiveness: Murmu’s leadership has been criticized for being too
passive and lacking in assertiveness.
2. Inadequate communication: Some critics have faulted Murmu for efficiently
communicating with public. This has led to confusion among some members.
Draupadi Murmu's impact on me :
She has impacted my life by giving four important leadership lessons :
1. Don't let difficult circumstances stop you.
Despite the atrocities that life through at her , she went ahead and completed her
school in graduation and Bachelors Degree in Arts.
2. Don't let obstacles change your goals.
Despite many heart wrenching loss, she gathered herself and did not let her grief stop
her from chasing her dreams.
3. No dream is too small.
She got elected at 64 years and 46 days. Also while taken an oath she said, "my
election is proof that the poor in India can dream and make them come true".
4. Never lose hope.
From living in a place where even basic amenities were not available to deciding in
340 rooms Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Conclusion :
In conclusion, Draupadi Murmu is a remarkable leader who possessed a unique
combination of vision, courage, resilience, charisma, compassion, knowledge, and
strategic thinking. Her leadership qualities inspire people around the world to
work on their dreams and never lose hope.
Barack Hussein Obama II :
He was born August 4, 1961 is an American former politician who served as the
44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017.
A member of the Democratic Party, he was the first African-American president of
the United States.
Obama previously served as a U.S. senator from Illinois from 2005 to 2008 and as
an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004, and previously worked as a civil rights
lawyer before entering politics.
In 2009 he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize “for his extraordinary efforts to
strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples
Barack Obama as a leader and her leadership
style :
Barack Obama’s leadership style can be described as transformational and participative. As a
transformational leader, he focused on inspiring and motivating his team to achieve their goals
and make a positive impact.
Obama also practiced a participative leadership style, which involved listening to the ideas and
opinions of his team members and involving them in decision making processes.
In addition to these styles, Obama was also known for his calm and composed demeanor, even
under pressure.
Overall, Obama’s leadership style was characterised by his ability to inspire and motivate his
team.
Advantages of his leadership style :
1. Inspirational and Motivational: Obama was a great leader who inspired and motivated his
team to work towards a common goal. He had a vision for the future and communicated it well.
2. Encouraged Collaboration and Creativity: Obama encouraged his team to work together and
share their ideas, which helped to create an environment of innovation and problem solving.
3. Empowered Team Members: He believed in giving his team members the autonomy to take
ownership of their work. He trusted their judgement and allowed them to make decisions.
4. Calm and Composed: Obama was known for his calm and composed demeanor, even in
pressure. This allowed him to effectively manage complex situations.
Disadvantages of her leadership style :
1. Slow decision making: Obama’s participative leadership style was appreciated by many but it
also slowed down the process, which may not always be practical.
2. Difficulty in enforcing discipline: Obama’s focus was on empowering his team and giving
them autonomy may have made it more difficult for him to enforce discipline when necessary.
Barack Obama’s impact on me :
1. Inspirational leadership: Obama's leadership style, characterized by his oratory skills,
intelligence, and vision, has inspired me to become a better leader. He has shown that
leadership is not just about achieving goals, but also about inspiring and motivating others to
work towards a shared vision.
2. Emphasis on education: As someone who values education, I have been inspired by Obama's
emphasis on the importance of education. He has made education a priority in his policies,
recognizing that it is a key driver of economic growth and social mobility.
3. Focus on diversity and inclusion: Obama's commitment to diversity and inclusion has been a
source of inspiration for me. He has promoted policies that aim to reduce discrimination and
promote equality, and has spoken out against racism and bigotry.
4. Health care reform: Obama's signature achievement, the Affordable Care Act, has had a
significant impact on me and millions of others in the United States. The law has expanded
access to health care for millions of people, including those with pre-existing conditions.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Barack Obama is widely regarded as an exceptional leader, both in
the United States and around the world. His leadership style is characterized by his
ability to inspire and motivate others, his strategic thinking, and his commitment to
equality, diversity, and social justice. He has shown that leadership is not just about
achieving goals, but also about inspiring others to work towards a shared vision.
Obama's legacy as a leader is marked by his ability to bring people together, bridge
divides, and inspire a generation of young people to pursue their dreams. His
impact on the world will be felt for years to come, and his leadership provides a
shining example for all those who aspire to lead with vision, compassion, and
courage.

  • 3. Draupadi Murmu She was born to a Santuli family on 20th June 1958 in Orissa. Her family named her Puti Tudu her name was changed several times. Murmu is an admire of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. She has also hailed Mahatma Gandhi and BR Ambedkar. In June 2022, the BJP nominated her as the NDA's candidate for President of India. During her election campaign , she visited various States seeking support for her candidature. On July 2022, she secured a clear majority in 2022 presidential election defeating common opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha with 676,803 electoral votes in 21 of the 28 states to become the 15th President of India.
  • 4. Draupadi Murmu as a leader and her leadership style : She is the first tribal women to become the countries president. Today , she has become an ideal not only for India but for billions of people around the world . Her leadership style can be categorised as transformational. Despite from coming from an underdeveloped street , she is sitting new Benchmarks in every coming year. She truly proved that no dream is too small to be completed. She is an example of the real courage which lies in getting back again and overcoming all are challenges. She is a true example of a powerful leader who with her determination, true courage and perseverance choose to stand tall instead of lying down and giving up. Her journey has been and inspiration to millions of us to never stop trying no matter what!

With her leadership style, in September 2022 , she launched a government program "Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat" - an initiative to eradicate tuberculosis from the country. 2. Also, she became the first ever President of India to inaugurate the "Mysuru Dasara" a 10 day state festival in Karnataka.
  • 6. Disadvantages of her leadership style : 1. Lack of assertiveness: Murmu’s leadership has been criticized for being too passive and lacking in assertiveness. 2. Inadequate communication: Some critics have faulted Murmu for efficiently communicating with public. This has led to confusion among some members.
  • 7. Draupadi Murmu's impact on me : She has impacted my life by giving four important leadership lessons : 1. Don't let difficult circumstances stop you. Despite the atrocities that life through at her , she went ahead and completed her school in graduation and Bachelors Degree in Arts. 2. Don't let obstacles change your goals. Despite many heart wrenching loss, she gathered herself and did not let her grief stop her from chasing her dreams. 3. No dream is too small. She got elected at 64 years and 46 days. Also while taken an oath she said, "my election is proof that the poor in India can dream and make them come true". 4. Never lose hope. From living in a place where even basic amenities were not available to deciding in 340 rooms Rashtrapati Bhavan.
