Sandra asks…
How friendly is the staff and facilities in Aseana Resort at
Langkawi.?
Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
Here are some reviews on the hotel, click here http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g2982

Personally, i would not recommend you to stay in Aseania coz to me when you are in Langkawi,
your hotel room must have a seaview from its balcony..but in this case, your room in Aseania
would be facing the hills or the roadside!
If you are on a budget, i would love to suggest you to stay in Sunset Beach Resort which is
located in Pantai Chenang..walking distance to cafes, beach bars and etc..
The boutique resort is a no-frills resort but you can expect a very friendly services from their
staff and the surroundings are very bali kind of concept…you will like it there! Check out their
web http://www.sunsetbeachresort.com.my
Have a great holiday in Langkawi!

Is Penang ( Georgetown ) and Langkawi good to do together?
Since im in the area i thought id do both places – However i hope they are both not very alike.
Can i know the difference between both places.
i have a 7 and 11 year old daughter. I was thinking of staying in a seaside resort in Langkawi
for 5 days and enjoying the activities and then staying in Penang for 2 days to see some Malay
culture. But is there something else special in Penang or do you think i should skip it

4. Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
You can do both. They are different. In Penang, you can stay at the beach resort of Batu
Ferenggi, which is popular and Penang has lots of Tourists attraction.Langkawi is a tax free
island, so you can get your beer cheap.Stay at Pantai Chenang chalets, which is beautiful and
there are many stalls and shops.Make sure you go Island hopping, just ask your chalet owner for
details.Enjoy your stay.
John asks…
How long does it take to travel between islands in Langkawi? Can I
book only one resort hotel on one beach?
Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
To travel in between islands can take up about 10 – 30 minutes. If you are up to island hopping,
there’s only a few locations to go. Suggest that you get a resort near Pantai Cenang cos the
jetty’s there to depart to other islands.

5. There’s a few tour operators who quote reasonable rates for travel between islands. Island
hopping should costs only about RM30-RM50 per person if you are doing minimal activities. It
costs more if you are a single person.
To rent a boat, they might charge you RM100 a day plus drive.
