Dear All,

bellavista@mail2hotel.com. I had frequent communication like a. I sent my CV b. they asked me
to fill up application form. and again asked to provide few information (I haven’t disclosed any
personal info).
2. Now they have offered me a job of admin officer &asked me to contact their co.resident
immigration attorney on abinahmadsolicitor@gawab.com,i mailed to this ID-they asked me to
give scaneed copy of my passport and $650 US DOLLAR. Is this a scam or a real job offer. The
contact person is Mr.Tom Chong and no. given is 0060146667715.
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
Rule of thumb: If they are asking for money and personal identification, DON’T. Do not send
money, do not send a copy of your passport. They could steal your identity. What makes this
even trickier is that it’s over seas. In my experience, there are MANY scams from overseas.
Don’t do it.

Budget my travel please?
Budget my travel please?
i am thinking of having a solo travel this coming CNY holiday. i am thinking of Langkawi,
how much do i need to have to travel to Langkawi?
* solo
*hotel,foods (i prefer budget hotel)
* i will depart from penang, so i’ll use ferry from penang
thanks in advance,
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
Like Jimmy said, how can you budget when you are solo ? Car rental, room’s rate, sometime a
bit on food n drink etc should be able to save quite a lot if you share.
And you didn’t mention the duration? 3d2n ?
Assuming all the below suggestion are in budget form but without compromise on the quality too
much :
[1] Ferry of two way that are fixed, so you know the amounts ?
[2] Hotel/chalet’s rate ? If alone, I think you may need to pay something around RM50 ~ 60 per
day
[3] Food/drink – may be RM 30 a day : breakfast n tea break RM5 each, RM10 for main meal
like lunch n dinner
[4] Car rental to go sight seeing – RM 50 ~ 60 for a kancil/proton plus petrol about RM25 or less
depend on your eagerness to move around.
[5] Shopping – of course you wanted to buy something as souvenirs so RM100
[6] Allocate RM100 for enjoying some not to miss attraction such as cable car, water world,
3/6
4. island tour etc
The actual amounts ? You decide !
Happy holidays !
Paul asks…
what will you do if someone stole your cellphone?
ok i went to Langkawi last December
someone came into my room when i was sleeping and my friens went out to change our rental
car someone came in and stole my cell phone and some money
when we went to make a report they did not follow the Standord Of Procedure of a lost and
found
they blame us for miss placing it

when ask about the S.O.P they Gm said this kind of case seldom happened so our staff is not
alert to this kind of case
our surrounding is too big for us to secure as we are a resort our place are too big for our
security to secure it.no cctv on the hall way using key instead of keycard
the GM from langkawi called up my freind hotel (which is the same company) (we took a FIT
package not staff rate)and scold their GM why did we make such a big deal out of this

Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
Yeah it happens to everyone at least once. When something like that happens to me I generally
kick myself in the a$$ 4 getting caught with my pants down.Your lucky it wasnt a serial killer
come in ur room and kill u in ur sleep!I for one can not sleep unless all my valubles are secure
as can possibly be,also no one can just come into my bedroom because my door stays locked
when I sleep.Perhaps u r 2 trusting to a fault. Its sad because your learning that in this back
stabbing world trust is a rare thing.I don’t trust no one and always cover my a$$,once someone
got me for my wallet I blamed myself for letting them catch me slippin’.In your instance you
could’ve hidden ur phone and money in the floor board and then locked your room door..you
would still have ur things if you would’ve taken precautions.

GO TO LANGKAWI!!!
This is such a beautiful place, and the beach is perfect and safe to swim in all year round! The
bonus of it being a Tax free island means that it’s also cheaper! There are some great places to
stay for all sorts of budgets and depending what you’re after.
The island is pretty easy to navigate around and its a great option to hire a car or bike and
spend the day driving around the island exploring all the great things Langkawi has to offer!
There’s a cable car which goes to the top of the second highest mountain which offers some
amazing views! There are also some awesome waterfalls to see too. There’s plenty to do and
see, but its also a great place to relax and unwind.
I reccommend going here… I was there 2 months ago and not a day goes by where i dont think
about going back! Am planning my return trip as we speak!
Enjoy!
