I have stayed here many times. Its a nice hotel & is connected to a small 9 hole golfcourse (if
you like golf).
Its about 100 meters from the beach.
The pool is wonderful & includes a small slide in the kiddies pool. The beach is not that great &
one visit both myself & one of my daughters got bad sand flea bites that itched for months! So
don’t play around (dig) in the sand too much. Its a nice beach for combing shells & weve got
plenty of sand dollars & nice shell from the beach.
The rooms are typical 4 star. Pending on your location & room type you may get a brilliant view
of the ocean & amost always stunning sunsets.
The food in the food outlets is lousy & expensive. I do NOT recommend eating at the hotel. If
your room rate comes with breakfast, fine. But if not, I suggest you drive down the street to a
mamak stall for some Roti Canai!

2. Hotel is quiet in the evenings & the lobby is a nice place to be as it is open & airy… Nice place to
relax. There is a small pub connected to the hotel which has karaoke (if you are into that).
The rates at the hotel can not be beat. Esp, if you are an employee of Hong Leong or have a
HLB credit card.
Enjoy yourself if you plan on going.

Better than Sunway or any recommendation?

The resorts are very nice but not the beach[ no beach at sunway ], most if not all the beaches[
only much better in term of infrastructure n modern facilities ] in west coast of Malaysia are far
inferior than those at the east !
I have traveled almost the entire of Peninsular Malaysia included many of the beaches n
islands, if i would to rate them from 1[worst] to 10[best], Port Dickson can’t even secure a
single point ! Langkawi[2] slightly better so as Pangkor[3] ! But until you visit Redang[8.5],

3. Perhentian[8], Tioman[8], Sibu[7], Lang Tengah[8], Kapas[7], Rawa[8], Permanggil[8] etc etc,
you would not want to return to PD any more ! My friend told me that those at Sabah[ Islands of
Sipadan, Mabul, Layang-layang just to name a few ] n Sarawak are much more better n
stunningly beautiful, unfortunately i have yet to step foot on !
Try [www.island.com.my] to find out for youself !
But you may be a little too late by now to visit say Redang, Tioman n co because the year end
monsoon is coming, next year March onward should be OK ! Anyway if you have the times, try
PD/Langkawi/Pangkor[ now ok to visit ] then Redang/Tioman/Perhentian[ next year, March ] n

Which hotel is better? Corus Hotel or Glory beach resort? which mile should I go to? Corus and
Glory are at the 3rd mile. Will the sea water be dirty on the 3rd mile?

Corus Hotel is on the beach side. Glory beach resort is on the opposite site across a road. Sea
water nowadays is dirty, so not many people swim in there. Go swim in the hotel pool.

Have you ever stayed in a HAUNTED hotel in Malaysia?
I did and believe it or not it was at one of a reputable gorgeous chalet-resort in Port Dickson!!
We stayed at one of the water chalets at the resort. My sister was tired and tried to have a quick
nap before going for dinner later that evening. She said that something in her bathroom is
making noise and playing with the door few times. She taught that she’s maybe too tired and
imagining things..but she was wrong! that thing comes out from the bathroom..my sister didnt
see anybody except something like chilling eerie presence in the room and a quick glance of
some one wearing a batik. She then took the Surah Yassin (holy verse) book and hold it to her
chest tightly. That thing seems to flew away and sits at the room balcony and then she suddenly
said ‘kikikikikikikikikikikikik….and that thing gone just like that’!!
(cant mention the resort’s name, later kena summon worr)
Have you experience any similar?? care to share?

YES!..Two times.
One in Mentakab (the staff knew about the haunted room but still gave it to us because others
were fully occupied).
The latest on in Cherating.
This one (Cherating), my hubby went out to get my baby girl (age 1+) from his sister’s room.
While walking towards our room (which I was in my room),
my baby pointed her finger to the end of the hallway, calling
“mommy, mommy”
My hubby apa lagi..got goosebump la!
He saw nothing except the forest at the end of the hallway.
When he came into our room, his face was pale.

The 1 at Port Dickson and the pool must be similar as kids would prefer. And the location must
be in Port DIckson
