I been both islands and its depend on where u stay.As me,i stay at jb,so tioman is better for me
la cause take only 4 hours to reach there but redang,10 hours driving!!!Crazy..Both islands have
crystal clear water and beautiful under water world but everything almost the same.The
resort,the beaches,the prices,nightlifes ( Simple night life only,don forget Malaysia is a muslim
country. ).One of the different is Tioman islands is a kampung,got peoples stay there,got
school,got road,got vehicles one but Redang is only for tourist,no local citizens there and no
vehicles there.More peaceful for me..So,its up to you.You can go both of the islands if you have
time and money – don worry,less than RM1000 for 2 packages and you will have a great
time.Enjoy your holiday!

On their t-shirts, it was blue and write and i think it printed IPGM or IGPM. Don’t really
remember the letters

3. Pulau Tioman vs Pulau Sipadan, which island is more dangerous?

Serious answer. Sipadan is more dangerous because there’s more pirates near the Phillipines.
Sipadan was closed down for awhile back then due to pirates attacked. The ministry of tourism
banned tourist from staying overnight at the chalets. So back then, divers or tourists can only
have day trips.
I think Sipadan just reopened last year, if not mistaken for tourists and divers to stay in the
chalets again.

I need to know how to go to tioman island from singapore.Which way is better freey or road?
how much does it cost per person there per day?
Any indian food available there?And pl le tme know about accomodation prices too.
And the places to visit.Other than birds’s park or zoo,bcos these are here in singapore too.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder !
It all depends what your after. I was always at Tioman when based with the RN in Singapore for
2 years in the 60?s. We used to anchor there a lot.
There was no development there then and it was absolutely lovely. We hated it and wanted to
get back to Singapore or all the time.
In fact I leaned to dive at Paula Tioman at that time and it was world class. Now not so.
