The platform will plug into existing digital infrastructure like payment systems and third party service providers, and will connect local underwriters, international reinsurers and databases. It will offer its insurance products through various consumer brands and distribution partners. The founding team includes experienced insurance and technology entrepreneurs with backgrounds from Morgan Stanley, MicroInsure, Uber and Messagebird.
