Structural organization of animals
Animals are made up of cells that are organized into tissues and organs. There are four main tissue types - epithelial tissue covers the outside of the body and lines organs, connective tissue provides structure and binds tissues together, muscle tissue powers movement, and nerve tissue senses stimuli and transmits signals. Tissues are groups of cells that work together to perform specific functions. There are four primary tissue types - epithelial, connective, muscle and nervous tissue. Epithelial tissues cover organs and line body cavities. Connective tissues support and bind other tissues together. Muscle tissues allow for body movement and internal organ movement. Nervous tissue transmits signals between parts of the body.

Epithelial Tissue Histology
Epithelial tissue, also known as the epithelium, is one of the four tissues found in the human body. It exists in various parts of the body, such as our digestive system, outer surfaces of organs and blood vessels throughout the body, as well as the inner surfaces of cavities in many internal organs.

Structural organization of animals
Animals are made up of cells that are organized into tissues and organs. There are four main tissue types - epithelial tissue covers the outside of the body and lines organs, connective tissue provides structure and binds tissues together, muscle tissue powers movement, and nerve tissue senses stimuli and transmits signals. Organs consist of multiple tissue types working together and are organized into organ systems that perform major functions like digestion, respiration, circulation, reproduction and excretion. Reproduction involves the production of gametes through meiosis and either external or internal fertilization depending on the animal type. Hormones control development and reproductive cycles in males and females.
Basic Body Tissue + Skin Pdf
1. Tissues in the body form from three germ layers - ectoderm, endoderm and mesoderm. Epithelia can form from any germ layer, while glands often form as outgrowths of epithelia.
2. Mesenchyme cells derived from mesoderm can form many cell types including bone, cartilage, muscle and blood. Blood islands containing precursor blood and vessel cells first form in the yolk sac.
3. Cartilage forms from mesenchymal condensation where mesenchymal cells become chondroblasts surrounded by intercellular substance and perichondrium.
