This document provides a summary of returning structures from previous labs and new structures seen in the coronal view of the brain. It lists structures seen in Labs 1-3 such as the lateral olfactory tract, optic tract, corpus callosum, and hippocampus. New structures discussed include the corona radiata, which relays sensory information from the thalamus to the cortex, the reticular formation which is involved in sleep, movement and vital reflexes, and the substantia nigra which produces dopamine and is involved in basal ganglia functioning.
