help others and keep fit on 60-100 mile expeditions across the Yorkshire
moors and other relentless parts pf the country, being part of the Duke of
Edinburgh Awards scheme has provided me with a lot of additional life skills
and taught me how to remain upbeat and positive in the most challenging of
conditions and keeping moral and motivation high when times are tough for
which I am grateful, having achieved all three awards gave me the enthusiasm
to continue to further my skills to a group leader and mentoring others to
progress through eh scheme. Through the years I have been part of some
amazing charitable events and carried out many hours of voluntary
community service which for anyone that has given the same will appreciate
the self satisfaction that this gives.
