Title: Effect of book-to-market ratio on Stock market.
Description:
• Examined the book-to-market effect in Indian stock markets by collecting, analyzing and interpreting the
data after calculating mean and standard deviation of the daily returns, the beta, and the Sharpe and
Treynor ratios were considered for measuring stock performance.
• The book-to-market ratios of the sample stocks were obtained from the Capitalize and Money control
databases. The analysis was performed using dummy variable regression of stock performance on the
book-to-market ratio, in order to identify stock-specific as well as period-specific effects.
