This document discusses child labour in India and efforts to address it. While India's constitution bans hazardous child labour and mandates education, loopholes remain. A recent government notification banned child labour under 14 in domestic and hospitality work, which CRY welcomed as a positive step. However, more needs to be done regarding rehabilitation, legal loopholes, root causes, education quality, and implementation. Individuals can help by raising awareness through writing, art, events, volunteering, and correspondence to motivate participation against child labour.
