“World’s fastest car”
KOENIGSEGG ONE:1
Introduction:
Introducing the fastest car in the world KOENIGSEGG ONE:1 with
top speed 280 mph(450 kmph). The KOENIGSEGG ONE:1 was
presented at the march 2014 Geneva motor. The name comes from the
power (1361 PS) to weight (1361 KG) ratio giving 1 PS per 1KG
weight. The 1361 PS power is equivalent of one megawatt, which
koenigsegg claims makes the one:1 the ‘world’s first megacar’.
Engine:
The koenigsegg one:1 is fit with variant of the same 5.0-litre twin-
turbocharged V8 engine in all. It produces 1361 PS(1,001 kW) at 7500
rpm and 1371 N.m(1,011 lb.ft) of torque at 6000 rpm. Total weight of
the engine is only 197 kg(434 lb.) thanks to a carbon fiber intake
manifold and the aluminium construction. The transmission is a 7-speed
dual clutch paddle shift.
Performance:
It can reach the speed of 100 kmph(62 mph) just with in 2.8
seconds and to gain the speed of 200 kmph(124 mph) it will take
1 1.92 seconds and with in 17.95 seconds it gets the speed of 300
kmph(186 mph). Braking distance of this car is 28 m and to
make the speed from 400-0 kmph it will take 10 seconds.
Dimensions:
Total length of the car is 4500 mm, total width 2060 mm and total
height of the car is 1150 mm. The ground clearance to the rear is 74-
90 mm, to the front it is 59-100 mm and 50 mm for lift system. Length
of the front track is 1700 mm and the rear track is 1650 mm. Fuel
capacity of the car is 74 liters. Weight distribution of the car is 44% to
front and 54% to rear.
Chassis:
Advanced high modulus carbon fiber chassis with F1 style honeycomb
core and integrated fuel tanks for optimal weight distribution and safety.
Monocoque torsional rigidity: 65000 Nm/degree
Weight: 72kg
Triplex damper in the rear.
Brakes:
Front brakes: Ventilated ceramic disc 397 mm, 40 mm wide. 6
ceramic piston calipers.
Rear brakes: Ventilated ceramic disc 380 mm, 34mm wide. 4-piston
calipers.
Traction control: F1 style for optimal performance with 5 different
handling modes
Body:
Two-door, two-seater with fixed roof.
Body made from pre-impregnated carbon
fiber/Kevlar and light weight sandwich
reinforcements.
Equipment:
Lightweight glass system, power windows, adjustable pedals and
steering column, One:1 stitching, adjustable lightweight race seats,
carbon ceramic brakes, sport ABS, ESC, power steering, power
brakes, 6 point racing seatbelts, USB connection, climate control,
digital warning and info system, G sensor, alarm, tyre monitoring
system, proximity key, car cover, rear view camera, 3G telematics
system.
Steering:
Rack and pinion power assisted steering. 2.7 turns lock-to-lock
Turning circle: Electro-hydraulic power-assisted.
Aerodynamics:
Cd 0.45-0.50 with adaptable rear wings
Frontal Area: 1.910 sq.m
Total Downforce at 260km/h: 610kg at 440km/h: 830kg
Flat underside of chassis: Venturi tunnels at front & rear of
chassis/body
Active aero front and rear underside.
Active triplex suspension.
Maximized intercooler flow.
Electrical system:
Unique Koenigsegg developed electronic control system including: body,
engine, transmission, traction and stability control and power
management. Solid state digital semiconductors – minimalizing need for
physical fuses or relays. Can bus operated and fully programmable
functionality.

  • 3. Introduction: Introducing the fastest car in the world KOENIGSEGG ONE:1 with top speed 280 mph(450 kmph). The KOENIGSEGG ONE:1 was presented at the march 2014 Geneva motor. The name comes from the power (1361 PS) to weight (1361 KG) ratio giving 1 PS per 1KG weight. The 1361 PS power is equivalent of one megawatt, which koenigsegg claims makes the one:1 the ‘world’s first megacar’.
  • 4. Engine: The koenigsegg one:1 is fit with variant of the same 5.0-litre twin- turbocharged V8 engine in all. It produces 1361 PS(1,001 kW) at 7500 rpm and 1371 N.m(1,011 lb.ft) of torque at 6000 rpm. Total weight of the engine is only 197 kg(434 lb.) thanks to a carbon fiber intake manifold and the aluminium construction. The transmission is a 7-speed dual clutch paddle shift.
  • 5. Performance: It can reach the speed of 100 kmph(62 mph) just with in 2.8 seconds and to gain the speed of 200 kmph(124 mph) it will take 1 1.92 seconds and with in 17.95 seconds it gets the speed of 300 kmph(186 mph). Braking distance of this car is 28 m and to make the speed from 400-0 kmph it will take 10 seconds.
  • 6. Dimensions: Total length of the car is 4500 mm, total width 2060 mm and total height of the car is 1150 mm. The ground clearance to the rear is 74- 90 mm, to the front it is 59-100 mm and 50 mm for lift system. Length of the front track is 1700 mm and the rear track is 1650 mm. Fuel capacity of the car is 74 liters. Weight distribution of the car is 44% to front and 54% to rear.
  • 7. Chassis: Advanced high modulus carbon fiber chassis with F1 style honeycomb core and integrated fuel tanks for optimal weight distribution and safety. Monocoque torsional rigidity: 65000 Nm/degree Weight: 72kg Triplex damper in the rear.
  • 8. Brakes: Front brakes: Ventilated ceramic disc 397 mm, 40 mm wide. 6 ceramic piston calipers. Rear brakes: Ventilated ceramic disc 380 mm, 34mm wide. 4-piston calipers. Traction control: F1 style for optimal performance with 5 different handling modes
  • 9. Body: Two-door, two-seater with fixed roof. Body made from pre-impregnated carbon fiber/Kevlar and light weight sandwich reinforcements.
  • 10. Equipment: Lightweight glass system, power windows, adjustable pedals and steering column, One:1 stitching, adjustable lightweight race seats, carbon ceramic brakes, sport ABS, ESC, power steering, power brakes, 6 point racing seatbelts, USB connection, climate control, digital warning and info system, G sensor, alarm, tyre monitoring system, proximity key, car cover, rear view camera, 3G telematics system.
  • 11. Steering: Rack and pinion power assisted steering. 2.7 turns lock-to-lock Turning circle: Electro-hydraulic power-assisted.
  • 12. Aerodynamics: Cd 0.45-0.50 with adaptable rear wings Frontal Area: 1.910 sq.m Total Downforce at 260km/h: 610kg at 440km/h: 830kg Flat underside of chassis: Venturi tunnels at front & rear of chassis/body Active aero front and rear underside. Active triplex suspension. Maximized intercooler flow.
  • 13. Electrical system: Unique Koenigsegg developed electronic control system including: body, engine, transmission, traction and stability control and power management. Solid state digital semiconductors – minimalizing need for physical fuses or relays. Can bus operated and fully programmable functionality.
