KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
 Awarded the Lloyd’s Register’s “Power of You Award’ in 2012/2013 for producing a
comprehensive condition survey report that was delivered to the satisfaction of key client
within stringent timelines and with the use of limited resources/information.
 Presented initiative to Towmaster and OIM of the Maersk Convincer to operate pre/loading
ballast system manually to mitigate risks of delay due to software issue and to support move
from shipyard in Singapore to commence operations on Shell site in Brunei. Initiative was well
received and enabled operations to commence in line with contract.
 Enhanced delivery of CFST (Crew Familiarization System Training) on drillship as Surveyor at
Lloyd’s. Created innovative, engaging team-led approach which was well received by Captain
& crew on board. Further familiarization training was subsequently procured.
 Wrote CFST modules for mechanical, marine & lifesaving equipment for a drilling company for
use across all rigs, which was well received.
 Supported 3rd
party suppliers performing complex coring operations to mitigate against project
delays on Senusret jack-up (formation much harder than originally anticipated & tools
damaged/destroyed). Rig subsequently achieved full drilling day rate as planned.
 Supported installation of the ZOSER; sourced spare parts which fell under warranty securing
significant cost savings.

 Coordinated the unloading of SENUSRET from heavy lifter vessel; once established,
reactivated rig. Maintained safety standards and ensured cohesive operations on the rig in
Egypt. Led, coached and mentored rig maintenance crew.
 Managed ongoing technical operations, including preventative & reactive maintenance.
Supervised and mentored maintenance crews (including Senior Mechanics, Mechanics, Asst.
Mechanics, Motormen, Senior Electricians, Electricians, Asst. Electricians & Welders).
 Acted as troubleshooter; managed repairs to faulty main power, mechanical, electrical,

 Assistant Rig Engineer on the MAERSK ENDEAVOUR & MAERSK EXERTER.
 Rig Engineer for MAERSK RIG 61 from build at ship yard in Texas through to loading
equipment for dry tow to Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela.
EDUCATION
Following evaluation of education, training & professional experience by ‘The Trustforte Corporation”
in 2014 qualifications, have been recognised as the US equivalent of a 4-year Bachelor of Science
Degree (BSc) in Marine Engineering Technology.
