· I am a hardworking and creative individualthat has been blessed to have the opportunity to work with some strong and
inspiring Brands. I have been working mainly in the developing and design departments of the industry but this has not
stopped me from learning all the aspects, including marketing, Graphic Design, merchandising and range development.

Experience
JUNIOR DEVLOPER | PUMA SOUTH AFRICA | AUGUST 2014-CURRENT
· A Few of my responsibilities include but are not limited to designing and Developing the Socks and Water bottles
for Puma South Africa.
· From Trend research to deigning the CAD, sourcing the local factories and developing the design with the factories.
· I then also have to create all technical information on the Puma systems and release the styles for order placement with
the relevant suppliers.
· Finally to the product being delivered to the warehouse.
· I also develop the local resourcestyles (Youth boys and Girls) in SA, Mauritius, Madagascar and Swaziland to name
a few.
· I start from studying the BOM, sending it to the relevant supplier, negotiating prices and style adjustments.
· Creating new style numbers,making sure orders are placed with the correct suppliers, sourcing fabrics, trims etc. with
the suppliers to come into price.
· Finally to placing the orders and following up on seal samples and pre-production samples, measuring and making
comments.
· Finally to making sure production is on time and finaldelivery to the warehouse.
· I also do KitCreator, which is developing sublimated garments with our local developers for our Soccer Teams, Rugby,
Football, Hockey and sponsored events.
· From Design, to sourcing the correct factory, creating the style numbers and placing the correct orders.
· Follow up and measurement of garments and also design inspection, making sure the production comes out exactly like
the CAD given.
· Costings, communication, negotiations and following up is a big part of making sure the product comes out 100%
accurate and also leaves little room for mistakes and late deliveries.

· I designed the footwear for Ladies and kids, for a main stream Retailer, MRPrice in South Africa.
· A few of my responsibilities include but are not limited to; trend Research, mood boards,designing the CAD’s,
presenting the range, to resourcing the fabricoptions with the supplier, to completing the tech packs and also
negotiating the costs and creating tech packs.
· When it comes to footwear and working with China,complications are involved with communication, therefore it is vital
to make sure that one, communicates clearly and specifically to the suppliers.
· Making sure that as a merchandiser I am able to reach the target prices set out by the company and to achieve the best
price without compromising quality.
· This opportunity was very creative and allowed me a lot of scope for unique design ability.

· A few of my responsibilities with Aca Joe were as per the below but also not limited to only those mentioned.
· I was able to assist with the Visual Merchandising, and also to lead a team of instore employees to help me set up the
store.
· My daily tasks would include; designing the garments for both Men and Ladies, dealing with suppliers on negotiating
prices and fabricand also the sourcing of new suppliers for production, setting up of tech packs and also placing orders
on the system.
· I would measure the seal garments and send off the comments to the supplier.
· I then had the great opportunity of getting to travelto Hong Kong and Mauritius to dealwith suppliers directly, this gave
me some worldly knowledge on how to communicate with people from different cultures and also how to be
