I designed Garments and Fashion designs with the coordination of product developers
with different buyers. Designing involves mainly on Garments Design like Shirt,
Trouser, knitted (T.Shirt), ethnic, shirting fabrics (Y/dyed stripes, Plaids, Printed,
Graphics, Trims & Garment Designing), mood board, themes board, deciding themes
and colors, fabrics, styling accessories to be used in it development of collection;
presentation and followed up with sampling also on ladies top/fabrics.
I developed Garment designs in CAD for all the US & European buyers.
Had a successful strike rate of 80% on our own developed designs with all the buyers,
specifically with buyers like Splash & Pantaloons; we had a strike rate of 90%. Work
involved CAD designing, presentation and development of actual desk loom with the
coordination of fabric sourcing team and Product Developers. Then garments were
developed based on the domestic & export markets.
After developed the designs and samples, I gave presentation to the clients and getting orders
from them. As per the buyers spec, we developed samples and quoted the garment price for the
designs selected by the buyers. Once price and other specifications confirmed by buyers, we
moved the order to other merchant team for further development.
We worked for different buyers such as Allen Solly,Cevimod, Landmark Group (Splash DNM,
