The St. Albans and Swanton, Vermont area contains an intense concentration of dairy
farms. It also is the site of the Vermont Northwest State Correctional Facility. The
opportunity exists for a manure management system that generates electricity and
heat for consumption by the
Correctional facility. The manure management system will improve odor, reduce
nutrient runoff, and provide other benefits for the farms, the environment, and the

Sexual Assault Of A 6 Year Old Boy Essay
On April 5th, 2016 at approximately 10:00 AM, I, Investigator James Poffel was
assigned a case in reference to a possible sexual assault of a 6 year old boy, Kevin
Baptiste. The reporting party was Pershing Elementary School staff. Officer Will
Sanders #549 was dispatched to Pershing Elementary, located at 301 N. 54th St., in
reference to making contact with Karen Watkins and Shannon Johnson. Once on
the scene, Officer Sanders was informed by Ms. Watkins that Kevin disclosed to
the school counselor, Shannon Johnson that he sucked on his mother, Taren
Harvey s, privates. Ms. Watkins originally called Kids Space to try and figure out
the proper procedure since they have had Darkness to Light Training provided by
Kids Space in the past. Officer Sanders then spoke with Ms. Johnson, who stated
three boys were brought to speak with her over a squabble they had on the
playground. The boys were Ty Looney, Kevin Baptiste, and Malcom Lewis. They
were all arguing, so Ms. Johnson separated them and spoke with them one at a
time. Ty told Ms. Johnson that they were all arguing because Kevin called Ty and

realizes his mourning is not his alone, it is a national grief, and so he tries to

March 25, 1999. The meltdown began in the non nuclear secondary system on
March 28,1979, then a pilot operated relief valve was stuck open in the primary

I think the prologue is one of many alienating devices Brecht uses to distance one
from any empathy. Within minutes of the play beginning one is alerted by Wang s

Whether we are aware of it or not, technology has become a normal part of our
lives nowadays. No matter where we go, technology will be present, from mobile
devices to more complicated creations, and all generations are exposed to them,
specially the younger ones. This young generation spends a great deal of time in front
the screens of these technologic devices. Which is why parents should limit the
amount of time children under 12 use technology since it does not let them develop
certain abilities, it limits them from having real life interactions, and it might cause
children health problems too (Summers).
Many kids were born in the Digital Era therefore, they are surrounded by
technology and screens most of the time, mostly at home, but too much exposure
to this can affect their abilities. According to a Research made by the University of
California, Los Angeles, kids who spent time away from looking at screens were
better at recognizing human emotions than kids who kept living their lives with
technology around them (Wolpert). This show us, how replacing real life
interactions for screen time not only isolates children but also makes them unable
to develop this kind of skill, skills that are important in the real life and are likely to
be needed in the future. Besides that, kids who invest most of their time on staring at
screens can be faced by health problems in the long run. As reported by some
researchers, this health problems range from childhood obesity and irregular sleep
patterns to social and/or behavioral issues. (Summers).Therefore, considering all
these negative effects on children, parents should be more cautious regarding how
much time their kids use technology and expose themselves to screens and digital
media.
Some parents might argue, however, that kids do not necessarily waste their time
with technology and actually utilize it for educational purposes such as researching a
