KILLER PHRASES
If you’ve been around for a while, you’ll certainly have your own list
of killer phrases, here are my personal top ten:
1. I’ve tried it before, so it won’t work
2. We don’t have a budget for your idea;
3. Nobody will accept your idea;
4. It (your idea) will never work
5. We do not have the time to implement your idea;
6. This is a really childish idea;
7. The idea is not bad, but it isn’t practical
8. Our competitors don’t do this;
9. We’ve always done it our way, why should we follow your idea?;
10. The last person who uttered that sort of non-sense, don’t
work here anymore.
