This document describes a proposed mobile application for Windows Phone 7 that calculates download and upload speed to test network efficiency. It would allow users to input a file name and see how download speed varies over time, then displays the average speed. The application has modules for input, internet connectivity checking, speed calculation, and recalculation. It is designed to overcome limitations of existing desktop bandwidth tester applications by working on mobile phones and providing more detailed speed information. Hardware requirements include Windows 7 or mobile emulator, and the application would be developed using Silverlight and XNA framework.
4. Convert that HTML/CSS into WordPress theme. I will create custom options so that you can easily update theme for example:
A: Header and footer options will be taken care of theme options.
B: Any content of similar structure will be managed from custom post type. I assume from your design that content under "A published author" will come from custom post type.
C: Menu will be managed from WP menu section.
D: for any other pages we will use page templates so that you can easily replicate pages.
I will get onto the WordPress development.

More than a decade after its initial design, the IEEE 802.11 standard, has become one of the most common ways to access the Internet. Given the wide adoption of Wi-Fi in many kinds of devices, a natural way for the technology to progress is to target device-to-device connectivity, i.e. without requiring the presence of an Access Point (AP), traditionally provided by other technologies. Another relevant technology in the Wi-Fi device to device communications space is 802.11z, also known as Tunneled Direct Link Setup (TDLS), which enables direct device to device communication but requires stations to be associated with the same AP. With the availability of mobile computing devices, mobile users have a natural tendency to share information between them. Often mobile users want to have a meeting, even though it is not planned in advance and there is no Internet connection available. For instance, there may be situations that employees find themselves together in a meeting room, or friends or business acquaintances may encounter each other in an airport terminal, or some scholars and researchers may meet in a hotel ballroom for a conference or workshop. In those situations, requiring each user to connect to a wide area network to communicate with each other may not be convenient or practical because of the lack of Internet connectivity or because of the time or cost required for such a connection, So in those situations the “WiFi Chat Room” would help the employees to send and receive the information whit the employees want to share. This application will be based on “Android Operating system”. The chat messages sent are of two types:
1. Public Chat Messages
2. Private chat Messages

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

3. ABSTRACT:
GOAL OF THIS PROJECT:
The main intention of this project is to calculate the
uploading and downloading speed of a network
while accessing the internet in mobile phone
We can estimate the efficiency of a network by
calculating it’s downloading speed if it is fast then
our network efficiency is good otherwise we can go
for another network.
4. EXISITNG SYSTEM
There is an existing system is called
“BANDWIDTH TESTER V 2.0” before the SPEED TEST
This existing system unable to calculate accurately as
SPEEDTEST
And it can run only on normal PC’s and LAPTOPS and it
not supported by mobile phones
It displays the total average downloading speed of a
network directly without showing how it varies during
downloading process
5. PROPOSED SYSTEM
This SPEED TEST application is works only on WP7 it
overcomes all the draw backs of existing system.
It calculate the Average downloading speed of a
network efficiently when compared to the existing
system
Downloading speed calculation is very important in
order to check the efficiency of a network
It can able to show how the rate of downloading
speed varies during the downloading process
6. HOW IT WORKS?:
The functionality of this project is very simple and clear by
providing the good user friendly interface in WINDOWS
PHONE 7.
Whenever user wants to know about network speed in his
mobile phone he achieved that by running this SPEED TEST
application in his mobile.
This application only requires the file name which he
presently downloading in his phone as input.
7. MODULES OF THIS PROJECT:
This project mainly contains 4 modules:
TAKING THE INPUT FROM USER
CHECK THE INTERNET CONNECTIVITY
CALCULATING THE DOWNLOADING SPEED
RECALCULATE
8. TAKING THE INPUT FROM USER:
This application provides one text box to read the file name
which he is presently downloading in his mobile that includes
characters, numbers etc.. It provides virtual keyboard to type
this content.
Virtual key board
Text box to read
9. CHECK THE INTERNET CONNECTIVITY
After completion of 1st module this application checks for the
internet connectivity because for downloading process
internet must be required if our WP7 looses it’s connectivity
this application fails to calculate the speed.
Indicating that internet
Connectivity is lost
10. CALCULATING THE DOWNLOADING SPEED
By the successful completion of both the modules now, this
application calculates the downloading speed it is in terms of
bandwidth this speed may varies during the downloading process.
After total completion of download it display the total average
downloading speed.

13. INPUTS:
The major inputs of this project are internet connectivity
and Filename which currently downloading
Without the internet connectivity this application cannot
run
User must give the file name which he currently
downloading from internet as input to this application.
That must be correct
This application provides a virtual keyboard to enter the
file name
14. OUT PUTS:
The major output of this project is the Total average
downloading speed of a network it is in terms of
bandwidth(kbps)
It displays final output whenever downloading
process completes.
Whenever internet connectivity fails it ask the user
to connect the internet
It also shows how this speed varies during the
downloading process.
