SocialBroker.org aims to help donors give to nonprofits that maximize social impact. It will develop an online tool that makes research easy, inspiring, and personalized. The tool will use donors' responses to create custom "social portfolios" of high-performing nonprofits aligned with their passions. It will aggregate effectiveness metrics and present relevant facts and figures to compare nonprofits. For large donors, SocialBroker.org will provide a personal "Social Broker" for guidance.
I have posted the first version of the PledgeGo pitch deck. This is a high-level presentation of the PledgeGo model and the value we bring to our donors and charities.

Grant Writing in 2021: What’s Different and What’s the Same?TechSoup
2020 was quite a year! There was not much “business as usual” and we all had to adapt to new ways of doing things. Nonprofit organizations were significantly impacted by the epidemic and not only suffered from a lack of funds, but also saw an increase in people needing services. How do we move forward in our grant writing strategies in 2021? During this webinar, we discuss trends in giving, what has changed, and what remains the same so we can weather the storm and continue providing important, mission-driven services.

This webinar explains how nonprofits can use the benchmark figures to integrate group fundraising into larger annual or capital campaigns. The webinar will also feature current success stories of non-profits using group fundraising and Facebook to reach new donors while deepening their relationships with existing supporters. The Facebook applications discussed in this webinar include: Causes, ChipIn, Fundraising, and Change.org.

How to engage with your donors donor engagement cycleDonorbox
Whether you are a newbie in fundraising or a seasoned expert, you probably know that the key to successful fundraising lies in building relationships.
When a donor is engaged with a nonprofit organization, they are much more likely to donate again and again (and give in other ways too).
2. 4. Proposed Solution: SocialBroker.org 85% of charitable donors say they care about NPO performance, but only 3% give based on relative performance. For the other 82% there’s SocialBroker.org! SocialBroker.org is an online tool that creates a unique “social portfolio” of different charities, personalized for each donor. Unlike existing giving options, SocialBroker.org will provide a fast, easy-to-use tool for uncovering and donating to the most effective organizations that are working on the issues an individual is passionate about.* How to create a SocialBroker.org portfolio Uncover your passions. SocialBroker.org will use your responses to create a custom social portfolio based on the highest performing NPOs inline with your passions.** Learn more. Don’t see your favorite charity? Learn how it compares to our choices on key metrics. Still not convinced? Change any NPO or relative allocations until your portfolio is perfect … for YOU! *Monthly giving will be the default option so NPOs can direct donations to overhead costs as needed. **Quarterly emails will report on portfolio performance and alert donors to new/updated NPOs aligned with their interests.
