Why we justified who we picked and why

1. Justification of actor choice
In our short film we are only having one actor. We had originally had cast James Douglas to be our
talent but because of prior commitments he was not available on the days we were filming. We had
originally cast James because he has a high level of fitness so would easily be able do to what was
asked of him. He also has a Drama GCSE and is a member of the National Youth Theatre so is
qualified in acting.
We had originally chosen Thomas Cashford to be our under study but because James had to drop
out he became our main actor. We chose Thomas because he has a GCSE in Drama and he was
available on our filming dates. We also thought he would be able to do what was in the script
because he is a scout so is used to the exercise.
Because Thomas was made our main actor we then chose Charlie Blakemore to be our under study.
We chose him because he was available on our filming dates and has a high level of fitness so would
easily be able to do what was in the script.
