This document provides instructions for a set task assessing creative digital media production. Learners must choose one of five commissions from the Switch Off organization promoting balanced digital use among youth. The commissions include a video advert, website, podcast, magazine, or digital game. Learners will complete four supervised activities: 1) writing a rationale for their idea, 2) pitching their idea in under 350 words, 3) proposing their idea in more detail, and 4) producing a sample treatment including pre-production materials. The task aims to encourage youth to spend less time on screens and more on other activities for better mental and physical health.
