The document is a speech warning about the dangers of startups. It uses the story of Icarus to represent the typical journey of a startup from vision and leadership to gaining funding, creating a product, experiencing hubris or excessive pride, and potential failure. It notes that while startups require risk and hard work, the ability to fail is actually the best predictor of eventual success. The speech aims to educate entrepreneurs about risks while also making the case that startups can be rewarding.
A presentation by Korea Market Leader Margaret Key to the Herald Media forum in Seoul. The presentation focuses on Generation Z-ers and how they will be better prepared for a professional life by realizing a few basic principles. This generation, interestingly, is the first to have full access to the information age as they were born after 1990…they too are the most savvy and articulate when it comes to info-sharing on the Internet.

BlackHat Europe 2010: SCADA and ICS for Security ExpertsJames Arlen
The traditional security industry has somehow decided that they are the white knights who are going to save everyone from the horror of insecure powergrids, pipelines, chemical plants, and cookie factories.
Suddenly, every consultant is an expert and every product is loudly advertising how it solves SCADA SECURITY AND COMPLIANCY ISSUES!!!
And because they don't know what the hell they're talking about - 'fake it till ya make it' doesn't work - they're making all of us look stupid.
Let's sit down for a little fireside chat and discuss all things SCADA and ICS with an eye towards increasing our knowledge to the point where we can confidently say: "I'm not an expert at everything, I can help some, may we work together on a solution?"
It's time to stop being a Cyber Idiot and start being a positive contributor. Learn some truth, look behind the curtain, bust some FUD, Oh - and make government agents have kittens. That's fun for everyone.

I am interested in developing executive training or professional development workshops that function as 'surprise' and 'mystery' tours and collective performance art.
I have brought a squash to the class last Friday (as a form of improvisation and surprise).
In particular, students like puzzles (the student who gets the answer first gets a dark chocolate).
If you view it as a slideshow and try to guess the answers to the puzzles, then the experience might be quite fun:)
You can find the description of this class below.
In this class that is designed as a collective performance art, we review some of the biggest names in the landscape of entertainment, creativity, and business. From space to magic, from basketball to fashion, from animation to computer games, from film music to architecture we have a trans-disciplinary tour of storytelling and creative careers. We have a series of exercises in asset creation and imagination. We have a lot of puzzles. We dream about the university of the future. However, the main actor in all of this experience (the connecting thread/anchor) is a squash.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Editor's Notes
What do these words have in common. There both French. But they also have the same dictionary definition. There is a link here – after all think of all the French military victories. I know your thinking Napoleon, but he was from Corsica. How about the French Foreign Legion you say? Clever I say. The French Foreign Legion is populated by the dregs of society, murderers, cut-throats and thieves – which takes us back to Entrepreneurs.
Someone stupid enough to throw themselves off a cliff on the BELIEF that they can invent wings before they hit the ground. Let’s call this poor soul Icuras.
So lets say Icuras beats the odds and invents wings in time
But that’s only the start of his journey – in his HUBRIS he flies to high (burns cash to fast) and his wings melt – plummeting him to the ground.
It doesn’t often happen, but sometimes you fail at failing and you SOAR, and that is a high that is highly addictive.
What do we call someone who sees things or people that don’t exist . . . we call them CRAZY.
Confidence men, originally meant that thief would gain the confidence of the mark in order to steal their money. In this context we mean someone that is so supremely confident in their vision and their ability to create that vision that others invest their money or throw away perfectly good careers in order to help bring this thing into the world.

Creating games and game companies requires you to be TOTALLY in LOVE with what you are creating and the team that you are creating it with. It also requires complete support from you family as it will become a totally absorbing activity and they are going to suffer some because of it. Without support on the home-front your doomed
