Jennifer Jones created an online poetry unit to complement face-to-face instruction. The unit aims to help students understand figurative language in poetry and analyze poems for meaning. It uses various Google tools like Sites, Calendar, Presentations and videos. Students will complete six tasks, including taking surveys on poetry attitudes, reviewing figures of speech, analyzing poems, and posting reactions to poems online. The goal is to provide a clear and accessible online lesson to help students engage more with poetry.
