2. JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
POST CONTRACT
Prepare/and or supervise 'Bill of Quantities', which lists the individual components required to
construct the project.
Check materials on and off site and verify delivery and acceptance from the clients
representative for payment approval.
Prepares and maintains interim and final payment quantities and computations and the final
accounts of the projects.
Prepares all commercial reports including monthly project report to consultant, reports to head
office and management (forecast based on commercial matter).
Maintain proper logs & Schedules for subcontracts; purchase orders, subcontractors and
suppliers payment certificates, prepared/submitted/approved calculation sheets, subcontractors

Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts .

Obtain all necessary valid quotations for bought out equipment and services. Prepare and or obtain all
technical documents (drawings, calculations, proposal etc) and a valid cost estimate for the enquiry
Ensure that all firm proposals have a completely clear scope of supply irrespective of the detail of the
enquiry documents.
Attend bid clarification meetings (BCM) as requested; formulate answers and clarifications for approval
when required.

Involved in giving details for comparing specification of the project & the material required.
