4. Step 1: Create an email account Choose a “user name” and password that you can easily remember and WRITE IT DOWN! Go to www.google.com Sign up! Step 3: Find the resources to create a professional resume Read about resumes on the links at “Getting ready for your job search.” To create one in Microsoft Word Open Microsoft Word Click on the round “Office Button” in the top, left-hand corner Click on “New” Scroll down the panel and click on “Resumes and CVs” Click on “Basic Resumes” Choose a type and click on it. Click on the “Download Button” Click on the text boxes in each section and enter your information. Choose “Save as” to save your resume.
