Different types of people in an organization are
required for effective execution of various
types of jobs. Work analysis is a primarily a
process in which information is a compiled in
relation to the work . On the basis of which the
nature of the work and the necessary
characteristics work and the person performing
it are decided.
According to Edwin flippo
“Job analysis is the
process of studying and collecting information
relating to the operations and responsibilities
of a specify job. The immediate products of this
analysis of job descriptions and job
specifications.’’
Initially work analysis was limited on only
active tasks. On the basis of which
qualifications were determined for the
recruitment of working persons.
The job analysis organization provides the
information needed to complete the various
stages of construction. By this, those facts are
indicated . By which to identify various
functions. Their inter relation can be
determined the inherent responsibility in the
work can be conveyed and the right to be
provided for the execution of the work.
Human resource development in taken as a
continuous process in the environment so that
the conformance between the work and the
people remains in the change circumstances.
The work analysis provided the necessary
information to maintain this conformity.
Work assessment is a process by which the
relative important of different position of the
organization is determined on which basis the
process who performance the task is
determined while setting the value of the work
and characteristics of both the work and the
worker are formed. The necessary information

by work analysis.
The results of the works executed by the
individual are analyzed under performance
evolution. Performance evolution is used to
increase the salary ,promotion and training of
individuals. Performance evolution in done on
the basis of standards related to the assessment
work . Work standards are determined by the
work analysis based on the information
provided.
On the basis of information provided by the
work analysis restrictive measures can be
adopted regarding the safety and health of the
employees. Due to many industrial works.
Occupational illnesses arise. In the analysis of
these occupational diseases and the
development of hazards, appropriate
information is provided on the basis of which
necessary training is provided of the
employees for safety and health as well as
various preventive measures can be adopted so
that these diseases and at least adverse effects.

the basis of the use of work analysis various
elements are included in it so before starting
actual work analysis it is necessary to
determine which objectives will be used to

analysis .
After determine the used of work analysis the
information is compiled to understand the
nature of the work . Information related to the
work is done in the form of various action used
in the work, the amount of liability, the
quantity of authority its relation with various
functions and the environment in which the

observation of performance interview of
existing employees, important events inherent
in the work etc.
