JOB PROFILE
EBM OFFICER (BRPM)
I was responsible for the coordination of the whole of North Shaft’s Time
Management (SAP) Time & Attendance (TNA-Front-End) and RemAdmin
(SAP) functions. Time Management includes all absences, overtime, call-outs,
pre-authorizations, substitutions, work schedule rules etc. Time & Attendance
has to do with access-control and time clocking. RemAdmin includes
remuneration of employees, personnel administration, as well as
Organizational management.
I was also responsible for the implementation of procedures with regards to
Time Management and RemAdmin. I was also responsible and accountable
for the day to day functioning and supporting of the Time Administrators,
T&A Operators, Employee Benefits Supervisor and Payroll Assistants who
were my subordinates.
I also did systems audit and documents audit to ensure that all information
was correctly captured and the systems interface is running properly.

I have been acting as the EBM Co-Ordinator for period of November and
December 2005 when Riaan Erskine was on leave.
I have been acting as the EBM Co-Ordinator for period of February to

Mine:
1. Implemented all the EB.Functions at Twickenham Platinum Mine since it’s
re.opening as new.
a) Implemented T & A systems functions and procedures.
b) Created and Maintained the SAP Org.structures.
c) Implemented Time Management fully in line with Anglo Group Standard.
d) Alligned HR and EB.Processes and Functions for realization of business
objectives.
e) Created the internal AWOP control and Management procedure.
f) I have corrected all the employee’s Absence Quotas for TPM whose quotas was
corrupted during the transition from Fixed Term employment status to the
Permanent Employment Status.
g) Created awareness of EB.HR functions through workshops and presentations.
h) I drafted the SLA between ASSU and TPM to be used in managing the
Centralised Payroll functions.
i) I am responsible and leading the WHOLE Mine’s EB.Functions as we don’t
have an EB.Manager.
j) I was representing the EB.Department during the drafting of the Lay out of the
new EB. and HR and the Lamp House,PPE Store and the Change Houses for the
Two Shafts and the Big Mines Training Centre and the Central Recruitment
Centre.

decisions are being made on behalf of Business.
