Two young girls, Ruby and Flora, lose their parents in a car accident and have to move in with their grandmother Min in the small town of Camden Falls. Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

- 6. GRABBER Two innocent little girls have to get used to living in a new place without their mother or father. They decide to move to a weird place called Camden Falls with their grandmother and realize that they are about to start a whole new life.
- 9. MAIN CHARACTERS Ruby ~ An 8 year old girl that loves being on stage. She especially likes ballet. Flora ~ The total opposite of her sister Ruby. She is a ten year old girl that is timid and shy and hates things messy. Min ~ Flora and Ruby’s sweet grandmother that tries her best to help her granddaughters get used to her home.

- 12. STORY Two young innocent girls have to go through the most terrifying thing known to children. Losing their parents. The crash into a truck that was going much too fast for a snowy winter night on the streets. Ruby and Flora have no choice but to move in with their only relative. Min. She was their only grandmother alive. She lived far away in some weird place called Camden Falls with nothing but a few restaurants and a mending shop that she owned called Needle and Thread.
- 14. When Ruby and Flora finally move into their grandmother’s house, they meet new friends that treat them like family. It’s easy to make nice friends because Min lives in something called the row houses. The row houses were the houses that were connected and were connected for more than 80 years. It was once said that there were secret doors in the attics of each house that connected into the house beside them. Ruby and Flora meet different kinds of people during the experience of living in a new place and start enjoying the life. They know that they can’t share it with their parents but they know that they are watching from heaven and watching over them.
- 17. PERSONAL RESPONSE I thought that this book told me a lot about how much it hurts to lose your family. But I also learned that even in the most darkest clouds, there is a silver lining. I saw how brave Ruby and Flora were when they moved into a town that they didn’t even know that existed. I admire them and this author. She used real people and real places to make the reader more interested. She describes the characters so well that it feels like they’re jumping off the page. I love her books and I hope they last forever.

- 20. RECOMMENDATION I think that this book should be read by 4th ~ 5th graders. But that doesn’t mean other people can’t read it. I hope whoever opens the book Welcome to Camden Falls, they can realize the lesson that this book gives to us.
