Geronimo goes skiing with his nephew but has an accident caused by a rude mouse named Speedy Daremouse. Geronimo breaks every bone in his body and has to undergo surgery and spend time recovering in the hospital. While recovering, he shares a room with other patients and receives visits from friends. Speedy apologizes to Geronimo for the accident, and to make up for ruining the ski trip, Speedy agrees to take them on another one. Geronimo throws a Christmas party for the other patients at the hospital to lift their spirits before being discharged.
