  • 1.             Circle  your  government  type:     • Monarchy   • Communism   • Democracy     • Dictatorship       1. How  does  your  government  function?     a. State  the  leader(s)     b. Write  a  set  of  rights  the  citizens  have     c. Write/  explain  how  the  government  /  class  will  be  organized.   d. Draw  a  picture  to  show  the  power  structure  of  the  government.     2. Write  a  description  of  the  powers  that  the  government  has.       3. Create  the  name   and   flag   of   your   government,   using   symbols  that  represent   your  governmental  system.       4. An   advertisement   persuading   others   that   your   government   is   the   most   valuable  form  of  government.       Use  your  creativity  to  present  your  assignment  as  a  Google  Doc  Presentation  (you  can   work  on  it  together  at  home)       Your  group  will  need  explain/show  the  following:     • Voting  system  (who  gets  to  vote  etc.)   • How  are  decisions  made?   • What  are  the  top  10  rights  that  a  citizen  under  your  government  can  have?   • Who  has  rights?  Who  do  not  have  rights?   • How  would  a  citizen  of  your  government  feel?
