SCOPE OF WORKS
The works include design, procure, construct, testing and commissioning of the
following:
• Demolishing existing structures.
• Dredging the quay basin to -18.00m CD
• 400m Quay wall
• Reclamation and Soil Improvement – Yard and Causeway
• General Cargo Yard with lighting, fencing, paving and services.
• Causeway construction
o Northern Causeway 1800 m
o Southern Causeway with approach 650 m
• 420m Bridge
• 5 km Road works
• Various Administration and Security buildings

• Since this is a fast track project, a collaborative design review process
needs to be adopted through all the stages
• Overall Design Period is 8 months including approvals

surrounding environment

BAM International appointed DOME
International, an expert in the field to
perform the assessment
This included a survey of the
environmental baseline and provides a
projection of the project’s impact on the
environment
From this assessment a CEMP will be
developed to ensure that the works will
not adversely affect the environment
