Jasmine Miller explores the topic of electronic portfolios in a draft paper. Electronic portfolios, also known as e-portfolios, allow individuals to collect and organize artifacts and showcase their skills online. E-portfolios are used for professional development, educational programming, and showcasing accomplishments. Successful e-portfolios have an online platform to organize clear and visually appealing artifacts like documents, projects, and reflections that demonstrate learning experiences and skills. As a graduate student, Miller plans to create her own e-portfolio to showcase her learning experiences and professional development in university athletics administration.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Final Paper
(Draft 1)
With technology in the world advancing at such a fast rate, it is only right that individuals,
educators and jobs advance with it. One thing that has advanced with technology are, electronic
portfolios. Electronic portfolios, digital portfolios or e-portfolios, whatever you like to call it
have made an impact on how individuals collect and organize artifacts and showcase their skills.
Throughout this paper the understanding of what e-portfolios are, how they are used today,
important elements of e-portfolios and the future use of e-portfolios will be addressed.
Individuals use various different administrative tools and theories to collect, organize and
manage different ideas, artifacts, and resources. Electronic portfolios can be defined as “a
collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the web.”( )
What makes electronic portfolios so unique is the ability for the creator and its viewers to discuss
the various artifacts and the ability to provide feedback for growth. With e-portfolios being
online, users are able to update their portfolios frequently, keeping it up to date with their work,
and with the constant changing of technology.
Moreover, what are e-portfolios used for? There are various reasons as to why someone
would choose to use or create an e-portfolio. The three main reasons are professional
development, educational programing/resources and showcasing accomplishments. E-portfolios
are a great way for individuals to educate, showcase various skills, experiences and to reflect on
their own personal learning. In an educational setting teacher’s might use student e-portfolios to
track the progress and learning of a student or their class. Students ranging from high school to
2. higher education may use e-portfolios to showcase their own learning experience and
accomplishments, reflect on their educational journeys or any new educational findings of their
own. And finally, individuals may use e-portfolios to showcase their own professional
development and growth.
Furthermore, what elements make up a successful electronic portfolio? To start e-
portfolios need an online or electronic platform, websites are commonly used to create e-
portfolios. Next a collection of artifacts that are thoughtfully and clearly organized within the e-
portfolio. Artifacts can range from documents, hyperlinks to projects or presentations,
multimedia and reflections. It is important for individuals to make sure they choose artifacts that
can clearly communicate your learning experiences and showcase your skills. Finally, it is also
important that e-portfolios are clear and organized as well as visually appealing. It is not ideal to
have links to artifacts that do not work, multimedia and documents that are cluttered and artifacts
that do not relate to one another. E-portfolios are here to help individuals showcase their work
and accomplishments as well as help them further their professional development. Having an e-
portfolio that has all three of the above elements is extremely important.
Finally, as someone who works in university athletics, I plan on using electronic
portfolios myself. As a graduate assistant in athletic administration and compliance here at
Western Oregon University I have had many different learning experiences, projects that I have
worked on and professional development that I would like to showcase. An electronic portfolio
is something I can use to help further my career in university athletics.
Overall, electronic portfolios are a great opportunity for individuals to tie together
learning experiences, work you may have done and showcase your skills and accomplishments.
3. Creating an e-portfolio that is dynamic, thoughtful and organized can help further both
educational and professional development.
