Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Saint Alphonsus Health System, Boise, ID - August 2008
– January 2015
 Decision Support Analyst, Data, Analytics, and Informatics
Provides cost/service line financial analysis to Chief Financial Officer, directors and other key personnel in the
medical center. As directed, provides additional contractual support to Vice President, Finance and health
system leadership. Interacts with all levels of management, explaining complex cost and revenue
methodologies in simple terms. Responsible for the creation of a daily stat tracker for the Saint Alphonsus
Health System (4 hospitals, physician clinics, system office) that tracks visits/discharges/revenues daily
against budget to provide Senior Leadership a real time stat tracker for the month. Responsible for the
completion of the month-end stats for all departments of the medical center. Uses Business Objects: Deski
and Webi (Infoview), Essbase, Budget Advisor, PeopleSoft, Visionware/Analytics to gather necessary
information for analysis. Creates easily understandable graphs and data sets for managers and CFOs.
Provides ad hoc cost analysis for medical center departments, identifying areas for waste reduction and
increased revenues.
 Anesthesia Technician Supervisor, Anesthesia
Responsible for the Anesthesia Tech team’s schedule, training, team meetings, level pay increases and
assisting OR Manager with hiring new staff and employee disciplinary proceedings. Accountable for ordering
supplies needed by the Anesthesia Department, ensuring the proper supply stock levels.
 Anesthesia Technician I-III, Anesthesia
Increasing responsibilities while assisting anesthesia providers with difficult intubations and trauma cases.
Setting up arterial and IV lines as needed. Ensuring cleanliness of monitoring cables and anesthesia
machines in operating rooms. Operating the IStat, glucometer, and ACT machines during surgery. Cleaning,
prepping, stocking and setting up intubation and anesthesia equipment in the operating rooms and in
auxiliary locations when needed.
