ICT refers broadly to any communication technology, including television, radio, computers, and more. It has become the primary method of communication, information access, education, and social advocacy. Web 1.0 consisted of mostly static, read-only websites with few content creators and no user interaction. Web 2.0 introduced more interactivity as internet technology advanced. Web 3.0, as envisioned by Tim Berners-Lee, will incorporate semantic web capabilities to provide data-driven content and responses without making Web 2.0 obsolete. Technology convergence merges different media types into new applications like smartphones that combine functions of phones, cameras, radios and televisions.

• It is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or
application encompassing radio, television, computer, an etc.
• It is also the main method of communication, getting information
and education, attaining services and expressing social advocasies.

• In this stage of internet technology there were very few web content
creators and many of them were so called “Ready only Web”
• There were NO USER INTERACTION
• Web pages were STATIC
• The feedback mechanism was thru private email
• No direct comment available

• The term Web 2.0 was used around 2004
• Internet technology became more and more interactive

5. WEB 3.0
• Discovered by TIM BERNES LEE (father of the World Wide Web)
• Referred to as the semantic web or data driven web content and
response.
• It will not make the Web 2.0 absolete

6. TECHNOLOGY CONVERGENCE
• Is an exlotution of technological development that merge into a new
together different types of application and media.

• It provides functionally of various individual separates
• Can function as telephones, camera, radio and tv.

• With more than 300 million users in 2016
• Allow users to microblog or broadcast

• Social networking app than enables the users to share mobile photo
and video either publicity and privately.

11. SNAPCHAT
• Design for photo, sharing, chatting, message services.

12. ASSISTIVE MEDIA
• It is a nonprofit for organization founder in 1996 in Ann Arbor,
Michigan USA
• It was the first based reading service of person with visual and
reading impairment.
