• Stands for "Information and Communication Technologies.". ICT refers to
technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications. It is
similar to Information Technology (IT), but focuses primarily on communication
technologies. This includes the Internet, wireless networks, cell phones, and other
communication mediums.

5. EVOLUTION OF WEB
• The evolution of the Web Today’s Web is a universe of applications and
interconnected web pages full of videos, photos and interactive content. What the
user does not see is how browsers and web technologies interact to make this
possible. Over time, web technologies have evolved to allow developers to create
new and fantastic web experiences.
6. WEB 1.0
• Web 1.0 is the term used for the earliest version of the Internet as it emerged from
its origins with Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and became,
for the first time, a global network representing the future of digital
communications.
7. WEB 2.0
• Web 2.0 (also known as Participative (or Participatory) and Social Web) refers to
websites that emphasize user-generated content, ease of use, participatory culture
and interoperability (i.e., compatible with other products, systems, and devices) for
end users.

• Web 3.0, the “official” definition. Some folks have been asking me for the clear
definition of the term Web 3.0. Web 3.0 is defined as the creation of high-quality
content and services produced by gifted individuals using Web 2.0 technology as an
enabling platform.
9. WHAT IS NETIQUETTE?
• Netiquette is short for "Internet etiquette.". Just like etiquette is a code of polite
behavior in society, netiquette is a code of good behavior on the Internet. This
includes several aspects of the Internet, such as email, social media, online chat, web
forums, website comments, multiplayer gaming, and other types of online
communication.
