The document summarizes several cases of misdiagnosis and negligence by the Burntwood Regional Health Authority (BRHA) in northern Manitoba, Canada that resulted in terrible suffering and death for Indigenous patients. It describes the stories of Wendy Saric who was misdiagnosed with asthma for 3 years and found to have advanced cancer; Darryl Constant who was left untreated for 3 days in isolation and nearly died of a treatable infection; and Bertha Massan who died of a yeast infection that could have been prevented with basic medical tests. It indicates the BRHA failed in its duty to provide universal healthcare to Indigenous peoples in the region.
This document summarizes the new dangers that have emerged in our increasingly mobile world. It discusses how social apps like Foursquare can act as 24/7 surveillance and promote narcissism. It also addresses privacy issues like police searching phones without consent, apps tracking users' locations, and companies retaining WiFi data. A final problem is the effect on common sense, like the rise in texting while driving tickets. The document questions if these problems will improve or worsen as our world becomes more plugged in.

The document summarizes key findings from the 15th Annual Global CEO Survey conducted by PwC. It discusses declining confidence in the global economy among CEOs. While confidence in their own companies' growth prospects is higher, no CEOs are "very confident" about 12-month revenue growth. CEOs are focusing on adapting their operations to local markets, addressing risks from greater integration, and making talent a strategic priority to overcome execution challenges and position for longer-term growth.

Regions Hospital became the first Level I pediatric trauma center in Minnesota in June 2009. This certification, which less than 20 hospitals in the US have achieved, recognizes Regions' dedication to meeting stringent requirements for treating severely injured children. These include partnerships with pediatric specialists, a separate pediatric ICU, specialized pediatric equipment, and trauma education for physicians and nurses. The certification crowns over 10 years of work to expand Regions' existing trauma services and meet new guidelines for exceptional pediatric trauma care.

Yard Elves Inc. is expanding into commercial landscaping after completing several large residential projects, including a landscape installation on a 40-acre estate. The expansion comes nearly 10 years after owner Alan Horne founded the company, which had previously focused on residential work. Horne was inspired to move into commercial projects after the success of a million-dollar waterfall installation at a large residential property in Estes Park.
The 15th Annual Global CEO Survey found that CEO confidence has declined as the global economic outlook remains uncertain. Half of CEOs expect the global economy to decline in 2012. However, CEOs remain more confident in their own companies' growth prospects over the next year. They are focusing on adapting their strategies and operations to important local markets, managing talent, and addressing risks in a more integrated global environment. Key priorities for CEOs include reconfiguring operations, developing talent strategies, and managing newly amplified risks from greater economic integration.

Letters respond to previous articles and endorsements.
This document outlines a proposal for a new generation of Prescription Monitoring Programs (PMPs) to more proactively address the prescription drug abuse epidemic. Key aspects of the proposal include standardizing and speeding up data collection; identifying who picks up prescriptions; integrating with electronic prescribing; improving data quality; linking prescription records; providing online access to reports and automated alerts; and performing analyses to identify problematic prescribing patterns to target interventions. The goal is to move PMPs from a reactive to proactive role in confronting drug abuse and diversion.

Markkinointiviestintäalan on syytä ryhtyä pitämään puoliaan.
- Idea mennä vilahti, lasku ei niinkään.
- Kymmenen toimistoa kirjoittaa, yksi saa keikan.
- Halpa, halvempi, markkinointiviestintätoimisto.
- Enemmän, nopeammin ja mielellään pienemmillä resursseilla.
Markkinointiviestintäala ei kuulu eikä näy – ainakaan hyvässä. Ei käy, vai mitä?
On aika näyttää närhen munat.
Markkinointiviestinnän Toimistojen Liitto MTL ry on se kokoava voima, joka keskittää koko alan energian yhteen pisteeseen.
