A DC MOTOR in simple words is a device that
converts direct current(electrical energy) into
mechanical energy.

INDUCTION: whenever a conductor is moved
within a magnetic field in such away that the conductor
cuts across magnetic lines of flux, voltage is generated
in the conductor
• To determine the direction of force acting on the
armature conductors of dc motor Fleming’s left
hand rule

when a conductor rotates in a magnetic
field, it cuts flux.
Then produces force.
