This document presents a review of how adaptation to climate change is integrated into national development plans across 15 countries, revealing that while climate change is mentioned in all reviewed plans, the level of integration in sectors varies significantly. Key findings indicate that adaptation is most often linked to agriculture, food security, and livelihoods, with a need for further research on mainstreaming adaptation and its ties to rural and urban development. Additionally, it highlights governance structures and financing mechanisms some countries are implementing to better address climate change adaptation.
