•Organized LIVE Television Interaction Program in National Television (Dec 5, 2020)
on the topic of World Soil Day and Importance of Soil Biodiversity.
•Organized web conference on “Soil Biodiversity for Healthy Soil” (Dec.4, 2020).
•Advocacy on Soil Biodiversity Conservation through News articles and publications.

prepare digital soil map of Nepal
• Collaborated and supported technically for developing soil atlas of
Nepal and development of national soil information system
• Continuously advocating to advertise vacant post of Soil Scientist in
Research Organization.

Information and Data
• For National Soil Information System, sporadic data collected,
compilation and assessment is going on and still more to go.
• Soil Surveying is being planned and Digital Soil Mapping of
Nepal is also going on .
• Participated in WRB training, DSM training and 3rd Editorial Board
meeting
• Soil Properties database has been collected for more than 80% of the
cultivated area
• Data compilation and updating going on.
