However, the audience was split on whether the camerawork and editing were conventional, possibly due to a lack of variety. Most agreed the mise-en-scene could have included more conventional horror elements like violence. But the subtle lighting and setting conveyed the intended creepy tone effectively. Both the magazine cover and poster were found to be conventional in their sinister images of the antagonist and professional design.
