This document discusses the calculation of elastic constant norms and norm ratios for various intermetallic compounds. It analyzes the anisotropy of these compounds based on how close the norm ratios are to 1, with values closer to 1 indicating more isotropic behavior. The document finds that UCd11 is the most isotropic intermetallic compound studied, while Ni3Al is the most anisotropic. It also analyzes differences in anisotropy for other material groups.

Photocatalytic Mechanism Control and Study of Carrier Dynamics in CdS@C3N5 Co...Pawan Kumar
We present a potential solution to the problem of extraction of photogenerated holes from CdS nanocrystals and nanowires. The nanosheet form of C3N5 is a low-band-gap (Eg = 2.03 eV), azo-linked graphenic carbon nitride framework formed by the polymerization of melem hydrazine (MHP). C3N5 nanosheets were either wrapped around CdS nanorods (NRs) following the synthesis of pristine chalcogenide or intercalated among them by an in situ synthesis protocol to form two kinds of heterostructures, CdS-MHP and CdS-MHPINS, respectively. CdS-MHP improved the photocatalytic degradation rate of 4-nitrophenol by nearly an order of magnitude in comparison to bare CdS NRs. CdS-MHP also enhanced the sunlight-driven photocatalytic activity of bare CdS NWs for the decolorization of rhodamine B (RhB) by a remarkable 300% through the improved extraction and utilization of photogenerated holes due to surface passivation. More interestingly, CdS-MHP provided reaction pathway control over RhB degradation. In the absence of scavengers, CdS-MHP degraded RhB through the N-deethylation pathway. When either hole scavenger or electron scavenger was added to the RhB solution, the photocatalytic activity of CdS-MHP remained mostly unchanged, while the degradation mechanism shifted to the chromophore cleavage (cycloreversion) pathway. We investigated the optoelectronic properties of CdS-C3N5 heterojunctions using density functional theory (DFT) simulations, finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulations, time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy (TRTS), and photoconductivity measurements. TRTS indicated high carrier mobilities >450 cm2 V–1 s–1 and carrier relaxation times >60 ps for CdS-MHP, while CdS-MHPINS exhibited much lower mobilities <150 cm2 V–1 s–1 and short carrier relaxation times <20 ps. Hysteresis in the photoconductive J–V characteristics of CdS NWs disappeared in CdS-MHP, confirming surface passivation. Dispersion-corrected DFT simulations indicated a delocalized HOMO and a LUMO localized on C3N5 in CdS-MHP. C3N5, with its extended π-conjugation and low band gap, can function as a shuttle to extract carriers and excitons in nanostructured heterojunctions, and enhance performance in optoelectronic devices. Our results demonstrate how carrier dynamics in core–shell heterostructures can be manipulated to achieve control over the reaction mechanism in photocatalysis.

Low dimensionality and high flexibility are key demands for flexible electronic semiconductor devices. SnIP, the first atomic-scale double helical semiconductor combines structural anisotropy and robustness with exceptional electronic properties. The benefit of the double helix, combined with a diverse structure on the nanoscale, ranging from strong covalent bonding to weak van der Waals interactions, and the large structure and property anisotropy offer substantial potential for applications in energy conversion and water splitting. It represents the next logical step in downscaling the inorganic semiconductors from classical 3D systems, via 2D semiconductors like MXenes or transition metal dichalcogenides, to the first downsizeable, polymer-like atomic-scale 1D semiconductor SnIP. SnIP shows intriguing mechanical properties featuring a bulk modulus three times lower than any IV, III-V, or II-VI semiconductor. In situ bending tests substantiate that pure SnIP fibers can be bent without an effect on their bonding properties. Organic and inorganic hybrids are prepared illustrating that SnIP is a candidate to fabricate flexible 1D composites for energy conversion and water splitting applications. SnIP@C3N4 hybrid forms an unusual soft material core–shell topology with graphenic carbon nitride wrapping around SnIP. A 1D van der Waals heterostructure is formed capable of performing effective water splitting.

Effect of calcination on the electrical properties and quantum confinement of...eSAT Journals
Abstract Fe2O3 nanoparticles have been prepared by a simple solvothermal method using a domestic microwave oven. X-ray powder diffraction measurement indicates the amorphous nature of the as-prepared sample. Calcined samples were obtained by annealing the as-prepared sample at different temperatures, viz. 400, 500, 600 and 700oC. Transmission electron microscopic images indicate that all the five samples are spherical in shape. AC electrical measurements were carried out on pelletized samples by the parallel plate capacitor method at various temperatures ranging from 40-130oC and frequencies ranging from 100 Hz -1 MHz. Results indicate low AC electrical conductivities and consequently show the occurrence of nano confined states. The exciton Bohr radii obtained from the dielectric constant values at 40oC temperature and 1 kHz frequency are 41.8, 54.8, 55.3, 56.3 and 27.0 respectively for the as-prepared sample and samples calcined at 400, 500, 600 and 700oC which indicate a strong quantum confinement effect. Porosity and the Magnetic Properties of Aluminium Doped Nickel Ferriteijtsrd
The nanocrystalline particles of Aluminium Al doped nickel Ni ferrites with general formula NiAlxFe2 xO4 x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 were synthesized by sol gel auto combustion technique. The formation of single phase cubic spinel was confirmed by X ray diffraction analyses. Morphological features of the samples are studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM to examine the particle size, shape and homogeneity of sample. The magnetic hysteresis graphs were obtained to understand their magnetic behaviours. The relative permeability µr of AlNi ferrite samples shows a decrease for all samples as Al content increases. Study of characterization of (peo+kclo4) polymer electrolyte systemeSAT Journals
Abstract Solid state polymer electrolytes have been prepared by using poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO) and KClO4 salt in the Wt% ratios of (90:10), (80:20) and (70:30) by solution – casting technique by using methanol (water-free) as solvent. The complexation of pure PEO with KClO4 salts has been extensively studied using IR studies. In the Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) curves it observed that, pure PEO melting temperature (Tm) slight shift towards lower temperature is due to the addition of KClO4 salt to the polymer. XRD data for these films clearly confirm the complexation between the KClO4 salt and the polymer PEO. The d-values calculated from the X-ray diffraction of pure PEO and various compositions of KClO4 complexed films are clearly indicate the complexation of PEO and KClO4. Dynamic Analysis of Rotating stepped Shaft with Transverse CrackIJERA Editor
This study describes dynamic analysis of stepped shaft with single crack of EN8 material. The objective is to compare results of healthy stepped shaft and single cracked stepped shaft for different crack depth ratios at variable rpm .The dynamic analysis is carried out by using finite element method. Obtained results from analysis are benchmarked from literature. It is observed that there is 84.80% increase in amplitude of acceleration of cracked shaft. Also modal analysis of shaft has been carried out to know effect on natural frequencies of healthy shaft and cracked shaft. The effects of crack depth, crack length & RPM on amplitude of acceleration are obtained.
The Futures of the Physic-Chemical and Thermoelectric Properties of the InTe-...theijes
By the methods of the physic-chemical analysis as well the measurements of microhadness and picknomentric density the semiconducting system InTe-Cu2ZnSnS4 has been investigated and its state diagram has been plotted. Guazibinarity of the system with restricted homogeneous fields has established on the basis of both initial components. The boundaries of solid solutions at 300K reach on side of InTe ~ 2mol% and on side of Cu2ZnSnS4 ~ 13mol%. The coordinates of the system eutectic correspond to the composition ~23mol% Cu2ZnSnS4 and temperature ~813K. A study of thermoelectric and galvanomagnetic parameters of solid solutions (InTe)1-x(Cu2ZnSnS4)x showed dispersion of electrons from the ionized admixture at low temperatures, and at higher temperatures from thermal vibrations of crystalline lattice. Heat transfer takes place according to one-phonon mechanism. The alloy of solid solution (InTe)0,98(Cu2ZnSnS4)0,02 possesses a high value of thermoelectric efficiency.

A Novel Displacement-amplifying Compliant Mechanism Implemented on a Modified...IJECEIAES
The micro-accelerometers are devices used to measure acceleration. They are implemented in applications such as tilt-control in spacecraft, inertial navigation, oil exploration, etc. These applications require high operating frequency and displacement sensitivity. But getting both high parameter values at the same time is difficult, because there are physical relationships, for each one, where the mass is involved. When the mass is reduced, the operating frequency is high, but the displacement sensitivity decreases and vice versa. The implementation of Displacement-amplifying Compliant Mechanism (DaCM) supports to this dependence decreases. In this paper the displacement sensitivity and operation frequency of a Conventional Capacitive Accelerometer are shown (CCA). A Capacitive Accelerometer with Extended Beams (CAEB) is also presented, which improves displacement sensitivity compared with CCA, and finally the implementation of DACM´s in the aforementioned devices was also carried out. All analyzed cases were developed considering the in-plane mode. The Matlab code used to calculate displacement sensitivity and operating frequency relationship is given in Appendix A.

disadvantages, among which we find the emergence of a Thermically Affected Zone ZAT can dramatically alter
the characteristics of the processed material which affects its behaviour during its use. For this, we have tried in
this article to study the effect of the forward speed and the laser power in this area (thickness, hardening). In
this context, tests were made on steel C45 where we relied on the method of experiment plans to create a
mathematical model Significant coefficients are obtained by carrying out a variance analysis ANOVA on the
level of 5% of significance. We find that the speed in advance and the power of the laser have a great effect on
the ZAT.

The complexation of pure PEO with KClO4 salts has been extensively studied using IR studies. In the Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) curves it observed that, pure PEO melting temperature (Tm) slight shift towards lower temperature is due to the addition of KClO4 salt to the polymer. XRD data for these films clearly confirm the complexation between the KClO4 salt and the polymer PEO. The d-values calculated from the X-ray diffraction of pure PEO and various compositions of KClO4 complexed films are clearly indicate the complexation of PEO and KClO4. Dynamic Analysis of Rotating stepped Shaft with Transverse CrackIJERA Editor
This study describes dynamic analysis of stepped shaft with single crack of EN8 material. The objective is to compare results of healthy stepped shaft and single cracked stepped shaft for different crack depth ratios at variable rpm .The dynamic analysis is carried out by using finite element method. Obtained results from analysis are benchmarked from literature. It is observed that there is 84.80% increase in amplitude of acceleration of cracked shaft. Also modal analysis of shaft has been carried out to know effect on natural frequencies of healthy shaft and cracked shaft. The effects of crack depth, crack length & RPM on amplitude of acceleration are obtained.
The Futures of the Physic-Chemical and Thermoelectric Properties of the InTe-...theijes
By the methods of the physic-chemical analysis as well the measurements of microhadness and picknomentric density the semiconducting system InTe-Cu2ZnSnS4 has been investigated and its state diagram has been plotted. Guazibinarity of the system with restricted homogeneous fields has established on the basis of both initial components. The boundaries of solid solutions at 300K reach on side of InTe ~ 2mol% and on side of Cu2ZnSnS4 ~ 13mol%. The coordinates of the system eutectic correspond to the composition ~23mol% Cu2ZnSnS4 and temperature ~813K. A study of thermoelectric and galvanomagnetic parameters of solid solutions (InTe)1-x(Cu2ZnSnS4)x showed dispersion of electrons from the ionized admixture at low temperatures, and at higher temperatures from thermal vibrations of crystalline lattice. Heat transfer takes place according to one-phonon mechanism. The alloy of solid solution (InTe)0,98(Cu2ZnSnS4)0,02 possesses a high value of thermoelectric efficiency.

A Novel Displacement-amplifying Compliant Mechanism Implemented on a Modified...IJECEIAES
The micro-accelerometers are devices used to measure acceleration. They are implemented in applications such as tilt-control in spacecraft, inertial navigation, oil exploration, etc. These applications require high operating frequency and displacement sensitivity. But getting both high parameter values at the same time is difficult, because there are physical relationships, for each one, where the mass is involved. When the mass is reduced, the operating frequency is high, but the displacement sensitivity decreases and vice versa. The implementation of Displacement-amplifying Compliant Mechanism (DaCM) supports to this dependence decreases. In this paper the displacement sensitivity and operation frequency of a Conventional Capacitive Accelerometer are shown (CCA). A Capacitive Accelerometer with Extended Beams (CAEB) is also presented, which improves displacement sensitivity compared with CCA, and finally the implementation of DACM´s in the aforementioned devices was also carried out. All analyzed cases were developed considering the in-plane mode. The Matlab code used to calculate displacement sensitivity and operating frequency relationship is given in Appendix A.

the characteristics of the processed material which affects its behaviour during its use. For this, we have tried in
this article to study the effect of the forward speed and the laser power in this area (thickness, hardening). In
this context, tests were made on steel C45 where we relied on the method of experiment plans to create a
mathematical model Significant coefficients are obtained by carrying out a variance analysis ANOVA on the
level of 5% of significance. We find that the speed in advance and the power of the laser have a great effect on
the ZAT.

However, without an inside look at the leading candidates to assume the CEO role, it is difficult for shareholders to tell whether the board has made the correct choice. In this Closer Look, we examine CEO succession events among the largest 100 companies over a ten-year period to determine what happens to the executives who were not selected (i.e., the “succession losers”) and how they perform relative to those who were selected (the “succession winners”).
We ask:
• Are the executives selected for the CEO role really better than those passed over?
• What are the implications for understanding the labor market for executive talent?
• Are differences in performance due to operating conditions or quality of available talent?

using a Laser diode emitting at 800nm as the excitation source. Optical losses in both materials have been
studied and compared absorption bands of Nd3+
have been observed at 580nm ,745nm, 800nm and 870nm .
Based on which Judd- ofelt analysis has been applied to study the transition properties of Nd3+ ions in the two
hosts. Photoluminescence spectra of Nd3+ have been experimentally studied and emission around 880nm,
1060nm and 1330nm is observed, which indicates that Nd3+ ions are active in these two hosts.

Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Cu Substituted Ni-Zn Nano-Ferrit...IJERA Editor
The ferrite nano particles having chemical formula Ni0.2CuxZn0.8-xFe2O4 (where x=0.0 to 0.8 with step of 0.2) were synthesized by Citrate-Gel Auto Combustion method at low temperature. The synthesized powders were sintered at 500oC for 4 hours in air and characterised by XRD, SEM with EDS. XRD analysis of prepared samples were confirmed the single phase cubic spinel Structure. The crystallite size (D) of prepared ferrites were in the range of 24-73nm. The values of lattice parameter (a) decreased and X-ray density (dx) were increased with the increasing of Cu substitution. The surface morphology of the prepared samples was investigated by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM). An elemental composition of the samples was studied by Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS). The observed results can be explained on the basis of composition and crystal size.
Development of Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System for Estimation of Evapot...ijsrd.com
The accuracy of an adaptive neurofuzzy computing technique in estimation of reference evapotranspiration (ETo) is investigated in this paper. The model is based on Adaptive Neurofuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and uses commonly available weather information such as the daily climatic data, Maximum and Minimum Air Temperature, Relative Humidity, Wind Speed and Sunshine hours from station, Karjan (Latitude - 22°03'10.95"N, Longitude - 73°07'24.65"E), in Vadodara (Gujarat), are used as inputs to the neurofuzzy model to estimate ETo obtained using the FAO-56 Penman.Monteith equation. The daily meteorological data of two years from 2009 and 2010 at Karjan Takuka, Vadodara, are used to train the model, and the data in 2011 is used to predict the ETo in that year and to validate the model. The ETo in training period (Train- ETo) and the predicted results (Test-ETo) are compared with the ETo computed by Penman-Monteith method (PM-ETo) using "gDailyET" Software. The results indicate that the PM-ETo values are closely and linearly correlated with Train- ETo and Test- ETo with Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) and showed the higher significances of the Train- ETo and Test- ETo. The results indict the feasibility of using the convenient model to resolve the problems of agriculture irrigation with intelligent algorithm, and more accurate weather forecast, appropriate membership function and suitable fuzzy rules.

Abstract In the present paper single crystals of Thiourea Zinc Sulphate (TZS) have been subjected to conductivity studies, determination of optical constants and fundamental parameters. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss were used to calculate the AC conductivity of the grown crystals over a frequency range 50 Hz to 5 MHz at temperatures 313 K, 323 K and 333 K respectively. The activation energies for the conduction process were determined from the Arrhenius plots for different frequencies. The optical constants such as refractive index, reflectance and susceptibility of the TZS single crystals were evaluated from the Ultra violet-Visible (UV-Vis) spectrum data. The Plasma energy, Penn gap energy, Fermi energy and polarizability of the grown crystals were estimated theoretically using the single crystal X- ray diffraction (XRD) data. Abstract In this paper, Zinc oxide nanoparticles are synthesized by simple wet chemical precipitation method. Zinc nitrate and sodium hydroxide are used as the starting materials.Zinc oxide nanoparticles are formed at a very low temperature of the order of 800C. Nickel doped zinc oxide nanoparticles are synthesized in two steps. In first step precipitate is obtained by reduction of mixture of zinc nitrate, ferric nitrate and starch by sodium hydroxide solution while in second step the given precipitate is thermally decomposed at high temperature of the order of 4000C. The crystallinity of the synthesized nanoparticles is then confirmed by X ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD).The elemental composition of the powder is detected by Energy Dispersive X ray spectroscopy (EDAX). The morphology of the powder is investigated by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Magnetic characterization of nickel doped zinc oxide nanoparticles is done by Squid Magnetometer. Computer Based Free Vibration Analysis of Isotropic Thin Rectangular Flat CCC...theijes
The paper is aim at the development of a computer program for free vibration analysis of an all-round clamped (i.eCCCC) rectangular thin isotropic plate. Polynomial-based shape function for a CCCC plate, was used in Ritz energy equation to formulate an equation in term of a non-dimensional parameter 'k' for calculating the fundamental natural frequency of the plate. Computer program based on the formulated equation was develop in Matlab language for calculating fundamental natural frequency of a CCCC rectangular thin isotropic plate subjected to free vibration. To validate the values of the fundamental natural frequency obtained from the program, comparison was made between the values obtained and those available in relevant existing literatures. And the average percentage difference was 0.079% which is acceptable. Hence, it can be deduce that the computer program can be adopted as a better and faster alternative to the former rigorous approaches for obtaining the fundamental natural frequency of CCCC plate.

The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

ABSTRACT:
The norm of elastic constant tensor and the norms of the irreducible parts of the elastic constants of
Intermetallic compounds are calculated. The relation of the scalar parts norm and the other parts norms
and the anisotropy of these compounds are presented. The norm ratios are used to study anisotropy of
these compounds.

1. INTRODUCTION
The decomposition procedure and the decomposition of elastic constant tensor is given in
[1,2,3,4,5,6] , also the definition of norm concept and the norm ratios and the relationship
between the anisotropy and the norm ratios are given in [3,4,5,6]. As the ratio becomes close to
one the material becomes more isotropic, and as the ratio becomes close to one the material
becomes more anisotropic as explained in [3,4,5,6] .

By using table 1, and the decomposition of the elastic constant tensor [1,2,3,4,5,6], we have
calculated the norms and the norm ratios as is shown in table 2.

3. CONCLUSION
By examining the results which are given in table 2, we can conclude by considering the ratio
that the compound UCd11 is the most isotropic compound (because the value of in the case of
UCd11 is more small than that in the case of CaAl2), and the most anisotropic Intermetallic
compound is Ni3Al because the value of is the smallest and value of is the largest for Ni3Al,
and also we can notice that in the case of the Intermetallic compounds (CaAl2, GdAl2, PrAl2,
NdAl2, YAl2, TbAl2, and LaAl2) which every one of them contain two atoms of Aluminium,
Al, the most isotropic compound is CaAl2 and LaAl2 is the most anisotropic compound, and also
we can notice that in case of the compounds, AuZn (47 at % Zn), and AuZn (50 at % Zn), the
former one with less % Zn is more isotropic, and also we can notice that the Intermetallic
compound UCO2 is the most isotropic compound of the compounds (UCO2, HfCO2, and
ZrCO2) where ZrCO2 is the most anisotropic compound, also we can notice by considering the
value of we found that this value is the highest (721.380) in the case of the Intermetallic
compound CoPt so we can say that the Intermetallic compound CoPt elastically is the strongest,
and the in the case of Mg2Pb (149.474) the value of is the smallest so we can say that the
Intermetallic compound Mg2Pb elastically is the least strong compound.
