Hundreds of thousands of sensors that measure everything from pressure to vibration can be found nearly everywhere, from factory floors to deep water oil wells. However, over time, sensors can degrade in performance, so it is critical to monitor and maintain the sensors to ensure they operate reliably throughout their useful life.
In this webinar you will learn:
The different types of sensors used in industrial processes
Basics of pressure sensor maintenance and validation
How device maintenance software can be used to efficiently monitor the health of field equipment
Our mission is to radically change the way people, products and property are connected by developing game-changing technology and applying it with smarter thinking. We believe in the power and potential of renewable energy.

How Satellite Terminals can Best Serve the Agri Sector - Kevin Maher - Sigfox...KTN
On Wednesday 20 November 2019, The Satellite Terminals Working Group (STWG), organised by Sven Knowles of KTN, chaired by Simon Watts of Avanti on behalf of the STWG, and hosted by Les Hurdiss of Agri-EPI Centre, held a successful meeting of Satcom (Satellite Communications) and Agriculture professionals to discuss and identify the technology needs, challenges and possible solutions in for Satcoms in Agri-tech systems.
With rapid innovation among antenna and terminal technologies, Satcom services are becoming accessible to a much wider range of users. They can provide communications and data services to remote locations, they are more easily installed, and can be integrated directly into equipment.

In operational tunnels, whenever there are excavations adjacent to the tunnels, tunnels must be monitored for movements and deflections to prevent permanent damage to the tunnel rings. Once these rings have micro cracks, water seepage occurs and this will lead to longer term issues

MCE-Nexus GPRS camera features
Our mission is to supply the very best value solutions to help your business reduce the
cost of monitoring and improve timely access to high quality data on-line, whether for
asset monitoring, environmental compliance or emergency response.
Our ISODAQ range of battery-powered telemetry outstations have been specifically designed
for continuous monitoring applications at remote sites where uninterrupted operation is
essential often under the most hostile environmental conditions.
An ISODAQ telemetry data logger lies at the heart of each system, providing the crucial
communication link between the measurement sensor and a desktop information system. Our
technology is state-of-the-art yet designed to be very easy-to-use. Our solutions are not just
affordable, but can help your organisation realise significant operational benefits by reducing
costs, improving efficiencies or emergency response through early warning of key events such
as floods or pollution.
Our Log2Net solutions provide well-integrated, field proven, on-line monitoring systems

Log2Net — live data wherever you are whenever you want Log2Net Key Benefits
• Easy-to-use telemetry systems
• Wide range of measurement sensors
• Designed to reduce installation costs
• Choice of modem communications
• Early warning systems with alarms
• Powered by batteries or renewables
Log2Net - live data wherever you are whenever you want
We have selected the MCE-Nexus camera manufactured by Meteor Communications to complement our Log2Net measurement and
early warning solutions. This camera can run off a battery pack and delivers excellent quality pictures at reasonable cost with flexibility
in deployment. The basic MCE-Nexus model is available in an IP67 rated enclosure, but we offer two other more rugged enclosure
options if additional protection is required for sites at risk from exposure to extreme weather or potential interference by human and/
or animals. In all cases there are four modes for activating the camera :
• Capture pictures at pre-set intervals and transmit to Timeview Telemetry (solar charging required)
• Activated by external PIR movement detection sensor
• Activated by output switch from an alarm exceedance generated by an ISODAQ Hawk XT GPRS logger
• Remote activation via SMS message sent from Timeview Telemetry linked to an alarm exceedance
3. Case studies of GPRS camera images
Camera enclosures for harsh environments
Many of our customers agree when it comes to monitoring key assets such as culvert trash
screens, where water-level readings or exceedance alarms by themselves do not always reveal
the real cause of rapidly rising water levels. Since the technology has matured over the last
10 years, Isodaq Technology have delivered hundreds of GPRS camera systems linked to either
flood warning or pollution alert systems. For flood warning, a timely picture can help mainte-
nance teams prioritise trash screen clearance work to ensure that culverts carrying capacity is
not reduced by blockages. For this purpose we have selected a range of battery-powered GPRS
cameras to complement our Log2Net water level or quality measurement systems.
When levels are rising and a pre-set alarm threshold level is exceeded, an ISODAQ GPRS data
logger can be configured to activate a GPRS camera which then takes a picture and transmits
it back to our Timeview Telemetry web-site where it can be viewed. The alarm message is also
forwarded to emergency standby staff, who are then alerted to view the image and decide
whether the degree of trash accumulated is starting to increase flood risk. A maintenance crew
can then be dispatched to clear the debris and reduce water levels.

A Hydro-Logic Group Company
Hydro-Logic Ltd was founded in 1985 by Rod Hawnt, a Chartered Civil Engineer and Water and Environmental Manager. The business
has grown steadily and now employs more than 50 permanent staff in offices across the UK. In 2013, the Company formally demerged into
two separate trading businesses to form the Hydro-Logic Group, with the original Company continuing to trade as Isodaq Technology
specialising in the development and sales of monitoring technology products.
Hydro-Logic Services LLP (HLS) was established in 2013 to operate the Group’s consultancy and field operations business specialising in
water resource management, flood risk hydrology, hydrometric engineering and monitoring network management. HLS is lead by Dr Colin
Fenn, a Chartered Scientist and Water and Environmental Manager, following the merger of his own water resources consultancy practice
into the new business.
A key strength of the Group is in the experience and capability of key staff to understand client’s needs and to design and deliver turnkey
solutions in demanding environments.
For this purpose our inter-disciplinary teams of project managers, engineers, scientists, instrumentation and software specialists are
drawn from both parts of the Group, which enables us to provide a fully integrated quality solution including installation and on-going
maintenance services if required.
