There are three main religious traditions on the islands: Baptist, Catholic, and Adventist. However, immigration has introduced additional religions including Christianity, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, New Age, Hinduism, Islam, and Rastafarianism. Islanders strongly commit to their faith, following religious principles through belief, appropriate dress, worship attendance, and living according to gospel. They view continental people as less devoted and spiritual, believing in God but not fully living by religious rules.
