Oklahoma State University will host the 4th
Infrastructure Management Bootcamp and
12th Annual Interuniversity Symposium on
Infrastructure Management (AISIM) in
SƟllwater, Oklahoma from June 6 to June 17,
2016. These acƟviƟes are supported by the
Infrastructure Systems CommiƩee in TD&I.
The “Bootcamp” provides an opportunity for
students and pracƟƟoners to have an
immersion experience in an advanced
Infrastructure Management course, focused
on physical assets. The following topics will
be covered:
The Annual Interuniversity Symposium on
Infrastructure Management (AISIM) is now in
its 12th
year. This graduate student focused,
graduate student organized event is intended
to provide a welcoming environment for
graduate students working in infrastructure
management to present their research, to
help students build a network of peers, and
to provide graduate students with some
experience in organizing a conference. A call
for abstracts for 2016 will be issued in early
2016.

Webinar
On August 26, 2015, ISC sponsored an ASCE webinar on Financial
Assessments of Public Private Partnerships. Administered by Dr. CaeͲ
sar Queiroz, former World Bank Advisor, this webinar provided parͲ
Ɵcipants with an opportunity to learn how to use graphical and nuͲ
merical Įnancial simulaƟon models of the Toolkit for PPP in Roads
and Highways.
The webinar also included applicaƟons to: (a) a toll road project; and
(b) PPP projects in any infrastructure sector. There were a total of
nine registrants for the webinar. We thank for SubͲcommiƩee on
webinars for preparing the proposal and are in the process of develͲ
oping new webinars for 2016. If there are speciĮc topics of interest
that you think the commiƩee should pursue, please contact the SubͲ

As a Kaylie scholar, performing research in urban freight
soluƟons, Diniece completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil
Engineering at the City College of New York in June 2012.
She later received her Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
with a specializaƟon in TransportaƟon Engineering at the
University of Texas at AusƟn in December 2013 where she
was an Advanced InsƟtute for TransportaƟon Infrastructure
Engineering and Management fellow.
Her area of interest primarily centers on Infrastructure
Asset Management and the valuaƟon of highways, which
drew her towards the commiƩee in September 2013. She
has served as the subͲcommiƩee chair for Young Member
IniƟaƟves and has recently taken the role of ViceͲChair of
the commiƩee. In addiƟon to her service on the commiƩee,
Diniece also serves on the ExecuƟve Board of the
Engineering School Alumni at her NYC Alma Mater. It is her
aim to advance the vision and goals of the commiƩee,
increase membership and young member parƟcipaƟon.
At the beginning of her professional career, Diniece has
garnered valuable experience as a Project Manager at the
New York City Department of TransportaƟon for the past
two years. She manages transportaƟon studies, and assists
in the planning, reviewing, and implementaƟon of capital
projects undertaken by the city. Her duƟes also extend to
conducƟng Environmental Quality Review for land use,
zoning and major developments in New York City.
