It begins by introducing prepositions like behind, under, on, in front of, beside, between, and near. Then it discusses other prepositions like after, from, before, since, until, at, on, by, for. Examples are given showing how to use these prepositions properly in sentences. More prepositions are introduced like round, about, towards, at, to. Finally, the document provides a test for the reader to fill in blanks with the correct prepositions, and concludes by thanking the reader for learning about prepositions.

The document proposes a mobile app called BlueBays that would leverage crowd-sourcing to collect and manage data on accessible car parking locations across South Australia. The app would fill a technological gap in helping vulnerable citizens and their supporters be more independent by providing accessible parking information. Users could download the app to both view accessible parking data and submit new data, thereby empowering more people to contribute to keeping the crowdsourced information up to date. The goal is to engage and strengthen communities through knowledge sharing and collaboration on the app platform.

Data has evolved significantly over time from being stored on stone to now being stored digitally in massive quantities. By 2020, there will be over 5,000 GB of data generated for every person on Earth. As data continues to grow exponentially, it is important to make data more visual and human-centered by using tools like graphs, charts and tables to help people understand and use data effectively. Big data presents both huge opportunities and challenges for businesses, with the market for big data solutions expected to reach $16.9 billion by 2015.
At Datalicious, we don’t just pick a model. We calculate a custom weighted model for every client based on their own data using regression analysis. By tracking all paths, successful and unsuccessful ones, and comparing the two, we can determine whether one channel is more likely to influence conversions over another. And this can make a huge difference in your investment return.
What you end up with is a media attribution model that is more accurate and flexible than any out of the box media attribution model could ever hope for.
Whilst we’ve only touched on a few of the pitfalls of using a simplified, out of the box attribution model, below are 10 pitfalls you can avoid by choosing to customise your media attribution.

More than ever, marketing has become reliant on data. With the advent of the internet and digital media in the last 20 years, we are now awashed with data from different sources as well as ever increasing volume. Digital is not just advertising media; it has become part of business. Data-driven marketing is becoming the norm, but making sense of the data requires new technologies like AI. Joe will explore this rise of data science and how it may affect businesses.

The document summarizes Richard Carmichael's presentation at the Big Data Innovation Summit Toronto in 2013. It discusses how Aveda Canada used data analysis of previous years' fundraising efforts to develop strategies to increase participation, engagement, and fundraising for their 2013 campaign to provide clean water in Africa. Their goals were ambitious but through social innovation and new online fundraising tools, they were able to raise over $591,000, meeting their goal and surpassing the previous year's total by over 10%. This was the most successful fundraising effort to date, with the highest ever online donations.

La révolution Big Data, par Hadrien Baradel @ "Play with Data" event by Dolea...Dolead
This document outlines an event held by Dolead and Google in July 2016. It discusses the history of big data, how to define big data, and how organizations can find value in data. Specifically, it describes how data volume, velocity, and variety have increased dramatically in recent years. It also provides examples of how metrics can be used to measure the impact of new product features and how data-driven decisions can boost business performance. The overall goal is to explain how organizations can maximize the potential of large, diverse, and fast-growing data sources.
1) The document proposes collecting data from everyday garbage collection and monetizing that data. GPS devices would track collection vehicles and gather data on garbage amounts and types by area.
2) The collected data would then be analyzed and sold to other companies for uses like market research. Towns could use mapping and monitoring of collection routes to improve efficiency.
3) Profits from data sales would be reinvested in infrastructure to create a self-sustaining cycle of town development. Citizens would be incentivized to participate through exchange programs using the collected garbage.

HCL Notes and Domino License Cost Reduction in the World of DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-and-domino-license-cost-reduction-in-the-world-of-dlau/
The introduction of DLAU and the CCB & CCX licensing model caused quite a stir in the HCL community. As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. There are also frequent patterns that can cause unnecessary cost, like using a person document instead of a mail-in for shared mailboxes. We’ll provide examples and solutions for those as well. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
These topics will be covered
- Reducing license cost by finding and fixing misconfigurations and superfluous accounts
- How do CCB and CCX licenses really work?
- Understanding the DLAU tool and how to best utilize it
- Tips for common problem areas, like team mailboxes, functional/test users, etc
- Practical examples and best practices to implement right away

CAKE: Sharing Slices of Confidential Data on BlockchainClaudio Di Ciccio
Presented at the CAiSE 2024 Forum, Intelligent Information Systems, June 6th, Limassol, Cyprus.
Synopsis: Cooperative information systems typically involve various entities in a collaborative process within a distributed environment. Blockchain technology offers a mechanism for automating such processes, even when only partial trust exists among participants. The data stored on the blockchain is replicated across all nodes in the network, ensuring accessibility to all participants. While this aspect facilitates traceability, integrity, and persistence, it poses challenges for adopting public blockchains in enterprise settings due to confidentiality issues. In this paper, we present a software tool named Control Access via Key Encryption (CAKE), designed to ensure data confidentiality in scenarios involving public blockchains. After outlining its core components and functionalities, we showcase the application of CAKE in the context of a real-world cyber-security project within the logistics domain.

“... the release of data is an enormous wealth creator. A lot of
businesses are based on information, and so the more data we
make available, the more businesses that can grow, and the greater
success our economy will be.”

What is the AGI view on Open? Well its the view of our members - our SIGs have been actively involved in bringing together the main players in each of their interest groups. The SIGS form at the request of the members and are run by the members for the members with similar interests. more recent ones have been the creat ion of the inspire sig formed from an Action Working Group, and the BIM sig which has proved very popular. One of the common threads in these groups has been how can Open help the community, and help members understand the benefits and downsides through experiences in particular business areas or regions
Open Source Tools - can be integrated with proprietary solutions - Make reference to MapAction hackathon organised by AGI Tech SIG. A business may base its GI model on Open, or it may be an entry point as a free or low cost option. Many of the major players are also using open technologies such as Python within the software. And then theres certain data formats such as the shapefile which although a proprietry format have an open architecture which allows anyone to create reader/writers. GML/KML this is open too and many software vendors have incorporated into their software as reader/writers
Firstly, let me tell you about the AGI
I am sure you have heard of us, but the AGI is a membership organisation for GI professionals.
