Abstract
There is a rapid development in sensor devices as well as increase in communication range with various low power wireless radio
transmitter and receiver using wireless mesh network. Wireless mesh networking is useful to collect the information from different
sensors that are widely distributed over a large area. In this survey, we mainly focus on open source module that is shown by
various authors. For this purpose many authors use Zigbee module for the development of sensor systems with capability of mesh
networking. In this survey, we mainly focus on wireless mesh networking, for that we studied different wireless sensors to transmit
and receive the data from them and can monitor the output at regular interval on our screen. WSN consist of different sensors that
are distributed with the capabilities of computing, processing and communication can continuouslysense the data in terms of
packets and transmit that data at regular interval. They design such model in which integrates the various functions such as type
of network, data routing and scheduled of transmission data. Also design wireless mesh network structure for various monitoring
application such as industrial, agricultural, medical and so many with a good average packet delivery ratio upto 93%. This
proposed system has the advantage of low cost combined with high reliable information of transmitter without complications of
wireless mesh networking. And finally we conclude from that study of WMN, the range of communication can be increased by
Using Pro-Zigbee module (up to 1.6Km) as well as we can monitor that, if one of the node is fail to transmit a data ,then their
data will automatically stored in neighboring node as backup.

Various parameters in the industries can be monitored and controlled using CAN bus network integrated with Bluetooth Communication. Monitoring and controlling the industrial parameters involve a large amount of man power and time consumption. To overcome the need of huge man power and time consumption this technology was developed which makes use of single person for monitoring and controlling the entire network. This method has been implemented in order to reduce the usage of wires used for communication purpose and also to reduce the errors relating to the data transfer. In this project sensors are used to sense the variable industrial parameters and the CAN protocols are used for error free data transmission and data reception purpose along with Bluetooth, pic micro controllers are used for programming the CAN controller. The data transmission rate will be higher than other wireless systems. This application is user friendly and it can be achieved at a very low cost.

Application of Zigbee in Smart Home with Dynamic Routing AlgorithmNooria Sukmaningtyas
In order to avoid damaging the walls and bore a hole through the walls, also to save the cost of
rewiring, low voltage power line can be used to implement the smart home. However, several difficult
problem must be solved at the same time , the most important are finding a technology method to
suppress the noise interference and resist the weaker signal. The smart home system is introduced in the
paper. During the design of Smart Home System adopting power line signal carrier, a dynamic routine
algorithm based on the idea of Genetic Algorithm is proposed to cope with the time-varying and random
feature of power line channel. Thus the system can find the transmission path in real time and dispatch the
signal carrier to transmit among the nodes. With this algorithm, the communication between a certain
group-controller and its terminal nodes or between the main-controller and the group-controllers is realized
successfully. In the proposed algorithm all nodes but the controller adopt same driver, therefore the plug
and play is realized for all nodes.

Abstract— The paper presents a low cost virtual instrument for monitoring the power quality events. The problem of power quality concerns the interferences which can be present in the mains. These electromagnetic disturbances can overcome a large interval of frequencies and can be present in industrial, domestic as well as commercial system .As main negative effects we can mention the high order harmonics, voltage fluctuations, flickers and disturbances with high slew-rates It is frequently indispensable to measure power quality indexes in wide electric power plant or in industrial zones. To this aim a low cost smart web sensors has been designed and implemented to acquire, process and transmit data over 802.3 network .It is organized in multi micro controller system. The first one dedicated to the data acquisition and the other to data processing, dynamic HTML pages construction and TCP/IP stack management. Key features of realized devices are low cost, data processing and remote communication capabilities, the possibility to provide data with any internet browser.

Abstract A Remote Monitoring System plays an important role in many applications. This paper proposes an innovative design about the development of remote monitoring system for a three-phase 10-kVA Switchable Distribution transformer with the help of a PIC microcontroller and Zigbee-based Wireless device. The PIC microcontroller from microchip helps in controlling the switching devices and monitoring the current, voltage and temperature of the transformer. The Zigbee-based wireless device is used as long range wireless communication between the modules. The information is transmitted point by point using Zigbee transmitter and receiver and is sent to the server module to check the state of the transformer. It has a data rate speed of 250 Kbps with minimum power consumption and has a transmission distances range from 10 to 100m. The data transmission rate is higher than other wireless systems. This is user friendly and can be achieved at low cost. This handles the transfer of parameters such as voltage, current and temperature as digital data from current transducers, voltage transformers and from temperature sensors to the server module through wireless communication. Abstract In most of the wireless sensor network nodes main functionality in software are implemented using CPU. Since total energy consumption of periodic measurement and network listening are considerably increased. In order to tackle this problem novel reconfigurable peripheral blocks are introduced into the WSN. For ultra-low-power sensor networks, finite state machines are used for simple tasks where the system’s microprocessor would be overqualified. This FSM unit autonomously handles simple sub-tasks of the periodic activities, Microprocessor to remain in a sleep state, thus saving energy. Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be

Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
