This research examines cooperative marketing strategies among clustered firms in major wine producing countries. A survey of managers in Argentina, Australia, Chile and New Zealand shows that inter-firm cooperation helps firms build competitive advantages in international markets through sharing marketing knowledge. The results contribute to theories of agglomeration and provide new insights into international marketing practices for small and medium enterprises in developed and emerging economies in the Pacific and Latin America.
