How to do it?
1. Choose problem area/theme to address (i.e. energy,
water, waste, occupational health and safety,…)
2. Draw crude outline of workplace area on paper with
key functions, machinery and facilities.

=medium problem, round dot = small problem
4. Put one transparent sheet on top of your drawing – (if you
don’t have a transparent sheet, draw directly on the map)

transparency using the symbols you chose
(You can replace the used sheet with a new transparent &

After selecting the problems you want to address,
you can start analyzing their causes, and finding
solutions, for example using the Fishbone diagram.
